Be more bad-ass physical. Dude has the game but the curly-cue hairdo and short-shorts detract from that presence . Would like him to develop his image to be more BAD-ASS ... because he has that kind of game and could be a super soph after the off-season strength program. Go Blue !!!

One badass angry mutherfucker! I love his passion he plays with intensity and always gets the team hyped. This is the type of energy we need every year. He’s gonna be a powerful leader next season

start at 1:00 of this video.

Spoiler: Beilein to Poole

Just put it in, instead of looking for the highlight film. Be good before you're great.

I think he went looking for the highlight film, coach.

never have been, never will be.  a healthy hoot and/or a fist pump and a high five is fine.  hand the ball to the ref when you score a TD, like barry sanders did.  but the bottom line is to act like that is what is supposed to happen, because in fact, it is what was supposed to happen.

you don't actually have to get off my lawn, but watch you don't step in the cow scat.  thank you.

EDIT: just watched the first half of that video.  thanks for posting sopwith.  very enjoyable.

and we have DVD copies of many of them.  my kids like to watch them from time to time.  every single TD i score they can see me either hand the ball to the ref or gently toss it to him from a stride or two away.  no spiking, no dancing, no mugging for cameras.

Just as long as your not pushing the teammates out of the way. Only thing that drives me nuts is when players sprint toward the camera or push away guys who are trying to celebrate with them. But like in this instance, it was all a natural flow (kinda) toward the camera. It’s like Woodson said after his punt return vs OSU. He was going to do the Heisman pose, but couldn’t bc his teammates caught up to him. He was going to pose and I would’ve loved it. He didn’t bc he celebrated with his teammates instead, and I lived that too.

Somewhere in the second half I was thinking to myself “man, Michigan just isn’t looking good out there,” but at the same time they were up a couple buckets. They “weathered the storm” as the big ten crew put it. That seems like something Michigan has excelled at in recent years. The offense works, just keep playing. Even with all the sloppy play they found a way to win relatively comfortably. I don’t know if this team has what it takes to do serious damage come tournament time, but I just love watching things unfold with JB’s teams. I’ve seen enough to not count them out.

This team is salty when they are slamming them home at the rim and knocking down shots. I mean even in their half court sets, they all go to the rack and flush em hard. I love it. It's the only way to do it. I demanded this play for months last year and I got my wish. Now again this year here they come at the right time. Add in their defense and this is a championship team.

does Beilein do it? Every damn year, It's the same thing.

Five Games into the season, I think ,"Yeesh, we may just miss the dance this year. Team just looks a year off."

Late February: "I wonder if we will be a four seed or a five seed? How many do we need to win to be a three seed?"

all those "Fire Beilien" (yes we had a couple) back in October/November get zapped by mods after getting neg-banged into oblivion.  It's crazy how his teams start out as chaotic as they do then suddenly around mid December start to put it together and then by February they look like they could beat anyone by the end.  It's just they way the mad scientist coach works.  And I'll take it every year and love it thank you very much...

or extended end-zone routines after a TD, but as those things typically go Poole's camera stare is pretty mild and quite brief. No prolonged shouting or getting in the face of the opponent.

And I wouldn't get my shorts all bunched up if an opposing player had done it, either.

After he landed he simply took another step or two to the camera and gave it a stare.  Lasted less than 2 seconds and away he went to his team.  I would have no problem if it happened to us because, again, it was just a quick stare and done.  He didn't glare in the faces of the other team or shout at them.  It was awesome in its simplicity

Nice recognition for him and the team.  Maybe I'm biased from my maize and blue perspective but I thought it so brief as to be light hearted and a funny rather than taking himself too serioulsy.

I hit rewind last night and watched it like 5 times last night during the game. That kid has a lot of swag and confidence!! He needs to give Matthews some..

I think it is good to have one guy like that on your team.  Maybe having a whole team of guys like that is overkill and a distraction, but having one guy with attitude like that can be useful, especially when the rest of the team seems to be running on empty and needs a jump start.
