I have never been to Arizona's campus don't know how their facilities are but seems like a place that you could recruit to. Sumlin is a good coach who I think was never accepted at A&M for what ever reason

Sumlin was embraced at A&M. However the shine wore off as he proved to be incompetent. He was successful in year 1 because he inherited an offense with all 11 players who played in the NFL. Once Sherman’s recruits matriculated, Sumlin stunk.

He’s a fine man. His teams don’t play defense and his offense generates too many 3 and outs

Arizona gets a good hire in Kevin Sumlin.

ASU gets Herm Edwards instead of a good hire.

The state of Arizona could be an interesting story for football for a few years.

Have you watched the game?!?! They could write fucking volumes about what not to do based on this game. Atrocious. Beyond horrible. A fucking magic 8 ball would have been better. Seriously. Down 7 2:14 left with 2 TOs.onside kicks it HORRIBLY. Mistake. They run a play just now 5 seconds go off the clock. Instead of calling a TO and getting a second at the 2 minute warning he lets the clock go down to two minutes. Now he has 2 minutes and 2 TO left down 7 still. Let's see how this plays out.

Normally against a top defense I'd say going outside the box is justifiable, but IIRC the weakest part of the Jags D is running the ball right up the middle and their back 7 is the best, so doing a pitch to a pass on 4th & 1 really does seem insane

For AZ. Sumlin must not want anymore of the ridiculous fan bases as he turned down a much bigger job at TN. He can spend his time in AZ not being stressed out all the time like I’m sure he was at TA&M....especially since his new arch rival hired Herm Edwards. Lulz
