Saw the same thing. I thought he moved his feet really well on D. Not sure he can stick with all wings at the college level, but I don't see him being as bad as underclass man Duncan Robinson

04/03/2018 - 1:02pm Perfect

04/03/2018 - 8:41am Saturday

Undefeated on Saturdays this year

03/19/2018 - 3:18pm Good luck

Moe worked hard and found a good landing spot

03/18/2018 - 11:11pm Mack

Great coach, but he screwed that game up badly. Stayed in a 1-3-1 zone that FSU started shredding. And then never got Blueitt a shot down the stretch

03/18/2018 - 7:22pm Glory years

Izzo built his reputation in the 2000's on physical team, rebounding. Game has changed, and he hasn't adapted well. Why Bridges didn't play the 4 today (and really all year) is insane

03/18/2018 - 2:37pm Love it

Read more of his stuff if you get a chance. Has great perspective on challenging young people to help them grow

03/17/2018 - 9:12pm Why

Was the running back from the Redskins in your dream?

03/17/2018 - 9:08am Class act

Very gracious in defeat. Super impressed with how he handled it

03/16/2018 - 11:46pm Give credit

To UMBC. Played great d and hit big shots. UVA was out of sync, couldn't hit a shot. Once they fell behind, the pressure got to them even more

03/16/2018 - 11:21pm And

UVA doesn't pick it up and toss it to them or refs

03/16/2018 - 11:39am Agree

Simpson will get most of the responsibility, but MAAR and Matthews will have their turn too

03/14/2018 - 5:26am PSU

Tony Carr didn't play in that game either

03/01/2018 - 6:12pm Trust

A good program always trusts its seniors! Never lost hope Duncan would enjoy some big moments this year

02/27/2018 - 3:23pm Why not Olympic model

It seems like most people who posted believe players should be compensated. Not by the university, but using the Olympic model and letting capitalism run its course. I also think this is the way to go. It's the least restrictive way to compensate athletes in this million dollar industry while also not going against title IX. Here are some reasons people would be against this model:

• Flat out don't believe college athletes should get paid

• Young people can't handle getting that much money. They'll be more posses and hanger ons of players

• People paying players will be demanding of their time and performance. What happens if player X misses a tackle or throws a pick? How will their "employer" react?

• If recruit takes money from someone but decides to attend a different university, what would happen?

• Players (and their families) would need agents or lawyers to help complete contracts. The system would still be open to corruption, it would just come in a different form. Families and student athletes would end up being the victims.

I do think players should get paid. There could still be lots of potential problems.

02/09/2018 - 3:27pm Offense

What about the affect on the team's offense? If you foul, that takes away the opportunity of transition offense. Most teams are better in transition than 5-on-5. It would be interesting to see how much success NBA teams had with hack-a-blank and the impact it had on their offense.

02/08/2018 - 7:13pm Future

I think this is the route Harbaugh is going to go. Of course they'll still pursue 5 stars if it's the right situation. But a lot of 2019 offers out already for Midwest linemen

02/04/2018 - 7:32pm Ugh

Is Patricia starting his Lions career a game early?

02/04/2018 - 6:08pm Good post

Some would complain if a preferred walk on ended going to a different school on scholarship. They just see decommit and freak out without understanding the situation

02/04/2018 - 5:40pm Predictable

I was surprised more of the experts didn't even hint at this. He never said why he didn't sign in December. Others said it was because he wanted to wait for a ceremony with his teammates. If a kid is committed and doesn't sign, that should raise some serious red flags

Curious to see where he ends up. Good luck to him

01/27/2018 - 2:16pm Nice

Good post. A lot of people want change for the sake of change

01/27/2018 - 11:45am Nice

Best post I've read on here in a while

01/17/2018 - 5:07pm Agree

Don't have a great guard to get points when it matters. Sweet 16 would be great. Final four would be a huge accomplishment. National champ requires first round NBA talent, most esp at guard

01/14/2018 - 4:21pm Agree

Tomlin cost his team by going for in FG range and the onside kick decision. Seems like when they fell behind early it got him out of sync

01/14/2018 - 9:39am Last week

There was a report he preferred the Giants job over the Lions. He's always been the Lions first choice. Now it seems mutual

01/14/2018 - 8:21am 2 things

Looks like guys aren't getting beat off the dribble and are fighting through screens. With Livers in the game, Michigan has better on ball defense at every position compared to last year. Saw a Coach Yach quote saying not having to help is one reason why they're a better rebounding team too

01/13/2018 - 2:36pm Prediction

Said this in the other thread that Sparty better hope they win today because I feel UM is about to go on a long winning streak the next few years. Looks like the streak starts this year!

01/13/2018 - 11:55am Future

Sparty better hope they get this one today because I'm predicting Michigan goes undefeated vs them next year and the 2 years after that

01/13/2018 - 11:24am 97 PSU game

Re Brian Griese:

He's never run so fast since his daddy was chasing him with a stick

You'll never hear great lines like that again

01/11/2018 - 8:22pm Nice perspective

Good post. Level headed with data to back it up. What has me most excited about the future is it has what we've lacked in the past....depth at the 4 position. Livers, Iggy, Johns can all play the 4 (and the 3). Lots of skill and versatility. What needs to be seen going forward is who can consistently get their own shot at the college level. Caris, Nik, GRIII in the right matchup, Spike even, all were capable of being late clock guys. Hopefully Poole, Livers, David D can be those type players too

01/10/2018 - 6:21pm Recruiting

Looks like Coach is trying to strengthen recruiting. I agree with the philosophy, esp when you have the main people on each side of the ball in place (Harbaugh and Brown). It's just too bad it seems he's realizing that in his 3rd year. Saban and Meyer hit the ground running after having success with recruiting at their other schools

01/08/2018 - 7:49pm No wonder

He was pretty much done after that year

01/06/2018 - 10:00am Personnel

I'd want Lloyd's players from that game...a 4 yr starting QB, 2 NFL WRs, one of the all-time leading rushers in the Big Ten, and the #1 overall pick in the NFL draft at LT.

What's the saying? It's not the Xs and the Os it's the Jimmy's and the Joes

01/04/2018 - 7:30pm Agree

Strange hire given Harbaugh/Drevno background with power.

Maybe Harbaugh tried to diversify his attack but realized mid season to stick with what he knows and the big guards do best

01/02/2018 - 8:00pm Senior

Have to trust your seniors. He's a career 43% 3 pt shooter that knows his role and the system. Still waiting for some of the younger guys to find consistency

01/02/2018 - 4:26pm Recruiting

Enos is a strong in-state recruiter. Wheatley leaving left a big hole that hasn't been filled

01/02/2018 - 4:22pm Spread

There are many different types of "spread". OSU is a power spread attack. Georgia leans more pro than spread, but still runs power. Clemson is more similar to OSU. Oklahoma is a spread to pass team. It's not one or the other, but more where teams fall on a spectrum

01/01/2018 - 4:18pm More than QB

The problem is deeper than QB. Watch the bottom line on ESPN previewing the NFL draft picks for bowl teams. Who does Michigan have? This year Cole and Hurst. Where's the All Big 10 linemen and WRs? I like Higdon, but he's a solid back up on good teams. Evans is good in space, but hats not how utilize him. The WRs are so young. It appears are go to player is McKeon?

01/01/2018 - 1:03pm On the QB

Peters ran into the sack

12/31/2017 - 9:49am Not really

The only team to change would be OSU. The other Big Ten teams would be playing in the same game. Wisconsin and PSU would still be playing in NY6 games. The other teams are in conference affiliated bowl games so they wouldn't change
