Drop what you're doing and read this (Mike Leach is a national treasure)
This is simply too random and excellent to describe. Your moment of zen:

I can't wait to see him beat Dantonio and then begin extemporizing about life during the handshake. Mork just scowls and skulks away (while Leach continues his monologue, oblivious to the fact that his conversation partner has left).

Why were you eating lunch at 5:30, weirdo? I can't believe I am the first person to ask this...

I agree with Leach - Hawaii is the best.

If this guy coached in New York or LA? That would be some entertaining shit...

I also had a pet named Bilbo Baggins. But, he was a dog. Of course, Leach had a raccoon. Of course.

Anyone got a pet racoon? I've been dreaming of getting a pet lately.

Go with a skunk, pretty much like a big ass cat. My cousin had a racoon little bastard would get into everything, and you never wanted to eat cereal at her house because you could guarantee his hands had been in it

Raccoons will tear your face off; skunks are pretty docile, and you can get them "fixed."

I would give anything to see him get a job in the SEC. His intellegence & wit vs the good ol' boy network of inbreeders plus Paul FInebaum would be worthy of pay per view.

He is far too likeable to wish the Illinois job on.

There's a lot of wisdom here. In fact, my middle child reminds me a bit of Leach's raccoon, what with the snapping at us a little bit.
He slowly became kind of feisty and would snap at us a little bit. It wasn’t his fault. Bottom line: I just think raccoons, like some humans, reach a point when they’re ready to grow up.

We did release him into the woods, but too close to the house, so he found his way back (even though we blindfolded him on the way out). Turns out he has a keen sense of smell.
We found him digging through the trash later that night, making quite a mess and quite a racket.

I respect his thoughts on Pizza.
But, really, isn't "Canadian Bacon" just "Ham"? I have a theory that if you take any noun and put "Canadian" in front of it, it becomes Ham.

They are high functioning varmints. (I also just learned from spell check that there is an "n" in the word "varmints". Never too old to learn something while goofing off cruising MgoBlog.) .
December 27th, 2017 at 5:19 PM ^
it's spelled VARMIT right on the side of the ammo box!
Speaking of which, we have a racoon that visits our backyard birdfeeders on a weekly basis. Have had him in my sights (literally) a couple times, but they're too damn fun to watch to get rid of.
The whistlepigs are another story.
