Why did you pick your MGoAvatar?

Why did you pick your Avatar?  What or who is it if it's not obvious?

I'm a Sons of Anarchy fan and after using a few different ones I came across this and loved it.   49er fans had the same one when JH was out there with their team info of course.

with some of the kids....

thinking of updating the pic though.   maybe one where some of them are playing football, or something else fun.

behind than you know, so thank you.  that said, if you were my neighbor at this time you would smell manure.  tons of it.  wafting through the air at every point. i finished spreading it yesterday.  you would also hear my oldest daughter playing the piano right now after she just fixed us dinner (fish tacos from the salmon i bbq'd last night).   the younger children are tasked with doing the dishes and cleaning up the kitchen, and you would be invited over for dinner and the apple pie and ice cream we just polished off.  it's a trade off from the big city, but for some of us, it's worth it.

p.s.  i'm still smiling about yost's comment re: pastor king, who took that with the grace it was undoubtedly intended.

Adamantium

Well it started with the username. My name is Adam. Wolverine had Adamantium claws (or rather an Adamantium-coated skeleton). The avatar was basically the best Wolverine pic I found on a quick Google images search.

It all worked out pretty fortuitously. Wolverine was always my favorite X-man. Always ID'd with the moody loners. E.g., Raphael from TMNT. That probably says something about me that I'd rather not delve into.

lol I was also always a Wolverine and Raphael fan.

My avatar is Jarrett Irons. I have his jersey and it's the only Michigan football jersey I've ever owned. I honestly can't remember much of his playing days, but he was my first (only?) favorite player I've had since he played when I was in my early teens.

Naked Bootlegger

Best naked bootleg call in my UM cheering history.  I listened to this game on the radio while traveling.   The Henson bootleg to beat the Buckeyes is still etched in my memory the way my brain interpreted it while listening to a radio broadcast.

Durham Blue

Because I live in Durham, NC.  And I think the Lucky Strike tower is cool looking.  I also like how the maize background overshadows the red (scarlet) color.  Symbolism, I guess.
