4 minute TD drive, suck the life out them.

11/24/2018 - 12:47pm Time of possession is going…

Time of possession is going to be huge at the end of this game. OSU has defended 23 plays in the first quarter alone.

I love all the Harbaugh haters. As if this team is not going to win this game by 10+.

Time to do the damn thing.

11/18/2018 - 9:42am When we see a redzone…

When we see a redzone touchdown out of the Train on our first drive Saturday, then I will be happy.

JK, awesome to see the team be relevant at the end of the year. Probably the 3rd time in my life since I started watching Michigan football. Also, special shout-out to JBB and Runyan for blocking out the noise and continuing to improve each week.

Wow.... didn’t even have to “set-up” that play, nor was there any true misdirection.

09/02/2018 - 8:42am This is the reality: it’s…

This is the reality: it’s the first game of the season, and if we can get two positions sorted out, this will be a solid team. We have four major games left, if the coaches are able to develop the offense to win 2/4 of those, with one being OSU, season is a success with good momentum into next year. I will reserve judgement until that time, unless this team does something awful like blow a game against a cupcake.

09/01/2018 - 11:47pm I thought the clock…

I thought the clock management at the end of the game was okay. Yeah they took their time on the touchdown drive, but they executed effectively and scored with around 2:30 left. Defense then did their job, and we moved the ball to around the 50 with a minute left. We had enough time to put ourselves into position to score with little to no time left, just didn’t execute.

09/01/2018 - 11:41pm I disagree. I thought the…

I disagree. I thought the play calling was around a B. I didn’t like the pass play call on the goal line when we were running over them in the I on that drive, otherwise I wasn’t too upset. There were shots downfield, and decent short pass plays to stay on schedule. The QB play was solid given what they had in front of them, and D Caff looks like a good backup so QB development is there. If the offensive line provides even average protection, a lot of those plays are probably effective. Now, if we want to question the coaches as to why the O-line is not improved, I’m down with that.

09/01/2018 - 9:15pm I don’t think the team is…

I don’t think the team is out coached. Out played for sure. If Shea doesn’t run backwards in the first, we likely get 3 on a field-goal. Winovich doesn’t rough the passer we get 4 back from that TD. Game would be 13-17 on the road. Obviously, woulda coulda shoulda, but that’s a player issue not a coach issue.

09/01/2018 - 7:58pm Calm down. Half-way decent…

Calm down. Half-way decent first possession, couple mistakes on defense. We always adjust on the D side of things. Offense is getting their footing, looks much better than last season. We’ll be fine

09/01/2018 - 3:39pm Rashan Gary has a Clowney…

Rashan Gary has a Clowney moment, but better. Sacks Wimbush forcing a fumble, and recovers it for a TD.

P.S. Sorry if that brings up past demons.

WMU, did my undergrad there and a friend’s family member is on this year’s team. Would love to see him do well.

Poor guy has to line up against Gary next week, though.

04/27/2018 - 6:44pm This is a myth. The treating

This is a myth. The treating physician in an ER emergency doesn’t know who is or isn’t an organ donor, that knowledge resides with someone else in order to avoid biased treatment. The system is set up so the doctor treating can provide the highest quality of care to the person in front of them.

I haven't looked at other programs that much, but if I'm a QB this is what I would be attracted to: 1. Immediate opportunity to start 2. Great defense and solid stable of RBs that will keep pressure off me to win every game single handedly 3. One of the best QB coaches in the country in Harbaugh and a stable staff 4. Opportunity to win a championship right away

Well played. Where were you when I was writing my personal statement for med school?

12/02/2017 - 4:18pm I commented earlier today

I commented earlier today about this topic and would like to revise my position. Get him on board, if he isn’t the starter next year then either Peters or McCaffery will be a beast. Win The Game, the B1G and then the Natty. And no, I don’t use the Oxford comma.

12/02/2017 - 11:40am Not sure how I feel about this.

I am ambivalent on this move. Quite honestly, I think Peters is good enough to be the guy based on his decision making abilities so far but I wouldn't be shocked if Dylan had the ability to win the job. Regardless, I'd like to see a Spring QB competition and then go into the summer with a known signal caller. Bringing Shea in would split reps between the three of them, and could extend the competition into August. IF he is significantly better than what we have this makes, but otherwise you could be losing valuable reps.

10/25/2017 - 4:17pm I think someone on here asked

I think someone on here asked if we ever take a class and recruit for "depth". It may be the case that the coaches don't feel like their odds of securing impact guys in this class are good and are looking to get a jump on 2019 where there may be more/better talent that is interested in Michigan.

His name is Mogli Khan, pictured to the left. Got him three months ago from my sister, her full grown Aussie was too much for the little guy.

So far he's been an excellent choice, very cuddly throughout the night. His only flaw is that he hoards any object placed on the floor in his den, located under my bed.

04/20/2017 - 6:30pm They do not. I have a friend

They do not. I have a friend who was diagnosed with schizophrenia, and there is a possibility that the onset of his disease was in part due to his marijuana use. He also tends to have more episodes of psychosis when he uses marijuana.
The main reason a link between the two is not firmly established (and why meds don't work for some people) is that it is difficult to measure hormone levels in the brain, so cause and effect relationships can't be measured objectively at this time.

04/20/2017 - 3:20pm A lot of factors go in to

A lot of factors go in to this decision, but I do not advocate the use of marijuana for a younger person. Complications can arise that can be quite debilitating, and marijuana can in fact make depression worse with long term use and there is a suspicion that it can up regulate the genes linked to schizophrenia. If nothing really works, it may be an option, but meditation, therapy pets, and other non pharmaceutical options do exist, it is a kind of "let's throw something at wall" approach.

Wagner and DJ need to have more of a presence, and in the latter's case stay on the court. It will be interesting to see if we can wear down Oregon's press. It takes a lot to do that for a full 40 minutes, especially with the good ball handlers we have.

Thank-you! Fortunately I'm in love with my work so the load usually doesn't get me too stressed out.

As far as the dog, I look to Harbaugh for inspiration. If he can have 7 kids and spend 25 hours a day coaching, I can handle this puppy.

03/21/2017 - 9:05am Good points. I certainly

Good points. I certainly enjoy the flexibility our system has, as I made a late career change in undergrad.

It's interesting to talk to foreign students about this topic though. I have a friend from Iraq and prior to immigrating she had already completed organic chemistry and other advanced courses prior to starting college. I'll have to ask her if the system was structured similar to your description.

Unfortunately, the U.S. doesn't value academics as a whole in comparison to a lot of other countries.
