What an effort and what a story. Hats off to Beilein and this entire program. Not one negative word to say. And Zak Irvin to the hoop is now a thing.

FIRE BEILEIN!

Oh wait!   Sweet win!

DJ Wilson is so much better than I thought he would ever be.  He seems kind of goofy at times with his moves, but they work.  Just a really impressive effort by him.  What I love about this team is how any one of them can have a big night offensively.  Tonight was DJ's night enjoy it young man!

PS-I noticed Wagner with some sort of contraption on his back (ice pack/brace).  I wonder if that's why he hasn't been playing as well.  Not sure if it's sports related or due to the plane crash.  In any event, something to keep an eye on.

We made it to the BTT semi-final, knocking off the hottest team in the country in the process, and we are the hottest team in the country.

That good enough for an NCAA 7 seed yet?

It was really weird watching Spike...I'm just not comfortable with that at all. I hate that he's in the B1G, just because selfishly I want to root for him every chance I can.

to tie the game.  Purdue tried to in bound the ball quickly but MAAR stole the in bound and was about to go up for a game winning lay up.  But the officials blew the play dead (the rigth call BTW) because Spartan BOB must have snuck in at the scoring table and did not stop the clock.....

No Biggie, the Basketball Gods made sure the right team won.....

they f-ed up a number of charging calls earlier in the game and were calling some ticky-tack fouls on Michigan - one of which resulted in the very rare Beilein technical.  I also think they were letting Haas get away with anything he wanted to do.  He's very very difficult to handle in general, but he was helping himself with pushing off and clearing people out underneath IMO.  I think in the end though, Michigan outlasted Purdue in overtime when both teams were tired and missing a bunch of shots.

Kinda think State is a better matchup but I want Minnesota again and of course fuck State.

Probably our most impressive game mental toughness wise since Jordan Morgan was here.  Can't believe we won with our bigs in foul trouble and shooting 6/25 from three.

We've had a nice little run and all that, but it's not like we had to come up against any truly insurmountable obstacles like the Rutgers basketball team

This was the polar opposite of "white collar."

We were running on fumes and didn't seem to have the legs to shoot threes, faced some terrible foul trouble, got robbed of a last-second winning shot and even gave up a halfcourt shot for good measure, but just willed out a win, against the Big Ten regular-season champs.

REALLY proud of these guys.

Just wanted to say all the folks who were calling for Beleins head are eating crow now. Honestly, maybe he needs a big time recruiter and an assitant whos a great defensive mind but I think he's an elite head coach. If he had the McDonalds All-Americans, he would dominate.

Congrats Coach
