MGoBlackFriday POSBang!

Submitted by UMProud on

For those about to shop we salute you!

Friday is here and today it's blacker than ink.  Are you up early shopping online in your fuzzy slippers or being dragged to the store?

What is on your shopping list and how are you passing the time until THE_GAME?

You can't claim the "retail worker" tag when you're a District Manager!  That's what my dad was back in his day, he walked into the storer to make sure things were good, check the shelve cleanliness, and make sure the employees were working with customers.  Only if he wanted, did he have to interact (which he did often, he was a people person if ever there was one!).  Yeah, I know you're game...  LOL!!

But Gawd, 11 stores in one day?  Have fun with that...

for some reason.  It's like a ghost town so at least I can shop and generally dick around online without interruption.  I think I'm going to let my people leave early today.  Management has gotten a little cunty about that lately, but fuck them.

The funny thing on that play is that both guys managed to keep Denard upright by trying to tackle him at the same time. If one of them had just gotten out of the way, of hell, if one of them even bothered trying to wrap Denard up, that never would've been a TD.

We gave up on in-store shopping many years ago around here in favor of Cyber Monday, so basically today is spent avoiding stores (although a trip to Meijer at some point today for a lunch on Saturday is sadly unavoidable) and watching movies and sports. It is also a day to actually clean the fridge, because if I am going to make another fucking turkey like I am supposed to do, someone better make room for THESE leftovers too or else I may need to invite people over just to eat leftovers and watch hoops / football.

After watching that Black Friday video it is now not a surprise to me that the election results turned out the way they did, the masses are IDIOTS!!!

Today is our "Get the house decorated for Christmas" day.  No way in hell I'm going anywhere near stores.  Unfortunately, the wife isn't a shopper, and hates the idea of Black Friday just as much as I do, so we don't get any killer deals.

I will be up shopping at Meijer at 6 am tomorrow getting supplies for The Game.  I'll start some crock-pot chili when I get home, take a nap, and then finish the rest of the goodies.

I'm going to get some Washtenaw Dairy donuts and maybe swing by Best Buy because I need a new Blu-Ray player. I really don't want to go but want to watch some movies today.

Is anyone familiar with the location here in Columbus that the team will be staying? The Hotel that they used to stay in doesn't seem to be the same anymore. I'm trying to gather some local Michigan fans to meet and greet the team
