Wisc LB Biegel foot injury (Confirmed)
Just saw this on the Wisconsin 247 board. They seem fairly despondent toward the bottom. Thought it was interesting enough to post. Sucks for the kid.
Edit: Rumor is broken foot in practice Wed.
Edit #2: Moms feel free to kill this if it's not appropriate rumormongering.

Like last year when Ryan Glasgow went down and Michigan's run defense got better....wait.

Biegal and Watt were all OVER the field versus MSU. Matt Millen kept trying to make a joke about his last name and David Beedle the Sparty LT. "A beagle beats a beetle every time! har har har har har!" "the beagle squashes the beetles attempt to block him again har har har har!" "Beagle really sniffed out that play! har har har har!"
It was awful...but the kid along with Watt were unreal.

Don't forget Larry. He was always at the Reagle Beagle. Dude always reminded me of Night Ranger's drummer.

Already talking about medical hardships.
Seems like it was confirmed after being a weird rumor at first.
That's too bad.

Anonymous message board poster whose dentist plays cards with the player's uncle, later corroborated by this guy's buddy who heard it from someone who talked to his father?
Sure, why not.

"I'm not worried yet.
I called my cousins best friend who does biegels X girlfriends hair and she said she's not heard anything."
I'll ask the girl at school who knows Ferris Beuller.

It gets gloomy REAL quick, the jokes all stop. They start talking about medical waivers.

false hope?

As a Madison resident, I can confirm that rumors are spreading.

Positive: would not be able to play against UM
Negative: would not get to play against OSU either.
We'll see what happens. Hope he's not significantly injured.

Too bad for the kid. Wish it was a one week strain or no injury at all.

I see so many posters deferring to the "Moms" to delete if they don't approve. Just who are these all-powerful Moms?

It's an intentional misnomer of "mods." They're referring to the board moderators.

Another one is /s means sarcasm.

Teams are almost always missing a "key player." We just lost Clark for the year.

In the 247 thread someone just said it's "1000% true" and that he is friends with someone on the coaching staff.

Hate to see a player go down with an inury. That's a shame if it's true.
September 29th, 2016 at 6:47 PM ^
I've never wanted to get trolled more than I do right now
That one is buried in the comments on the thread posted in the OP. If nothing else, Wisconsin fans can find a little humor in these situations, but if it is the case, that definitely hurts the Badgers even though they do seem at least somewhat confident in their backup.

I don't like when this happens to an opposing player unless that player is a truly bad character, and no evidence of Biegel being that. Hope he recovers quickly and is 100% soon.
That stated, I would not make too much of their fans claiming they have depth so it will be OK. Denial isn't just a river in Egypt, etc. This is a huge loss for Wisconsin, coming into a huge game.
September 29th, 2016 at 7:07 PM ^
Hope the kid gets better soon never want any of 'em to get hurt but this is a physical game and it happens. We'll be damn lucky if we don't experience this (again) before the end of the year.
That being said, with or without Biegel, the outcome won't be changed.
September 29th, 2016 at 7:09 PM ^
I doubt this is true. Their coach didn't say anything about it today in his press conference.
