Sounds like a can't miss deal.  Is shipping and handling included?

05/24/2018 - 2:54am Unless you're a trader

Unless you're a trader

05/23/2018 - 4:21pm Harvey Houtkin

is mine.  RIP SOES Bandit

04/18/2018 - 8:18pm I found it very enlightening

I'm taking my daughter to Europe for 2 weeks in July (graduation present) and found some pretty decent sites to hit up for plane tickets.  Very much appreciated the info from all who posted.

04/18/2018 - 12:48pm So I gather

you're not an adrenaline junky

04/17/2018 - 2:40pm Not only that...But they're too important

to get rid of.

02/19/2018 - 3:33pm Don't be afraid of failure and making mistakes

Most people take the safe route and don't take chances when it comes to striking out on their own.  I left the Post Office with over 20 years in and haven't looked back.  Almost every person I knew told me I was crazy to leave a secure job with good pay, retirement and benefits.  I've not missed one of my daughter's games or school activites.  The freedom I have with my schedule is directly related to my decision to take a chance.  Good luck to you and embrace the challenges the same as you would the success.

02/11/2018 - 6:44am Not understanding your point. Still can't short Bitcoin

Not understanding your point.  Bitcoin is cash settled but you still can't still can't short Bitcoin on the CBOE or CME.

https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/how-does-one-make-money-short-…

02/10/2018 - 8:16pm Most tradable instruments are shortable

When trading stocks generally one would buy and then sell at a higher price ideally.  When shorting a stock, you sell the stock first then buy it back ideally at a lower price.  During this process your broker credits your account with the sale price of the instrument you're trading and then with that amount you buy it back to close out the trade.  This process is very risky because there is no limit you can lose while shorting.  In other words, shorting can lose you more money than you originally invested in the trade.

Also, in order for one to short, your broker has to have shares available to loan you.  This is why crytos aren't shortable.  Brokers don't have large pools of say bitcoin on hand to loan you.

02/10/2018 - 6:51pm I day trade not invest

You're coming at this from an investor's point of view.   Daytrading and investing are 2 entirely different beasts.  I'm in trades anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes so I strictly play the momentum moves.  I understand your sentiment as an investor but daytraders and scalpers make a living off shorting the market every day.

Let me also add that if one is gonna trade for a living (mind you I didn't say invest) then that person needs to be able to be productive in a down market and most importantly, be flexible.  Shorting is just another way to make money in the markets.  It's been my experience most retail investors do not understand the concept of shorting so they simply dismiss it as too risky.  Which is fine with me because while they"re losing money in a move down, I'm profiting from it.

Also, I fully understand buying the dips.  In a traders world it's called pullbacks and retracements.  Moving averages, pivot points and Fibonacci numbers are just a few of the many tools traders use to find these levels.  Most retail investors couldn't even tell you what Fibs or pivots are or how to use them.

02/10/2018 - 6:36pm Valid point but.......

For the last year any and all the experts have been predicting a correction.  Common sense wouldn't dictate otherwise.  Saying that a correction will come is a pretty vague statement in of itself in these circumstances.  When will the correction happen?  This is the golden question yet still none of the experts were able to predict last week.

02/10/2018 - 3:25pm If you can short bitcoin itself that's news to me !!!

Good to go then.  I don't trade crytos so I may be outta the loop on that.  I strictly trade futures so Bitcoin futures offered on CBOE and CME aren't shortable.  I have a friend that trades options and crytos (Bitcoin and ETH) and he's always giving me his shorterm analysis on where they're headed. lol  If you were in on crytos early, hats off to you.  I find it interesting where these are all headed and how this technology is gonna play out.

02/10/2018 - 8:47am I started back in 2000-2001

At first I traded stocks then moved into the Forex market.  Now I trade futures.  I don't envision myself trading cryto's anytime soon.  Big reason why I won't trade them is you can't short them.  My theory is if you can't trade the momentum (both up and down) then it's not for me.  I make more money faster shorting the market than going long.  I actually left my job at the Post Office with 20 years in to do this full time and that was in 2008-2009.  Haven't looked back and don't regret it.

02/10/2018 - 12:17am Day traders and scalpers are very much

attracted to volatility.  And I'm one of them.  Investors, not so much.

02/09/2018 - 5:31pm $ 10,000,000 !!!???

Is that all you made in this raging bull market?  Noobie.

02/09/2018 - 5:27pm I trade futures for a living so this volatility is what I look

forward to.  I trade the DAX index futures specifically.  I'm not much of an investor other than IRA's and a Roth for my daughter.  I don't think this downside move is over.  The drop was toooo fast for a reasonable pullback so I look for some downside pressure and violent whipsaw action similar to the last few days.

12/29/2017 - 5:17am After doing a 10 minute google search I like him as well

He was Bert's S&C coach during his last 4 years at Wisconsin as well.  He was a D lineman at Wisc during the early 2000's so he has first hand experience of Wisc Oline.  He's also earned S&C highest honor when he was named Master Strength and Conditioning Coach (MSCC) by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association at the age of 35 becoming the youngest coach to ever earn the award.

I've never heard his name before but he seems like a S&C coach this Oline needs.

11/27/2017 - 4:49pm It still is near Flint

I grew up in Flint and now live in Millington.  I go there often (not just for Christmas either).  Kern's has the best brat sauce I've ever tasted.

11/06/2017 - 3:03pm He is a good back

And the Rutgers faithful completely lost their shit when he decommitted from Rutgers and committed to Wisconson.  Sorta like Saquan Barkley did but with Penn State

10/27/2017 - 8:44pm He wouldn't of played anyway

He's still recovering from a torn ACL

10/16/2017 - 8:53am I'm having bad dreams of

wheel routes to Barkley

08/25/2017 - 7:30pm Not trying to be difficult but I don't follow

Are you refering to something like a basket fund of currencies consisting of say, the USD, EUR, Pound and Yen?  Just asking for my own clarity.

08/25/2017 - 6:58pm There are commodity traded indexes

ETFs

08/25/2017 - 6:46pm Maybe the CFTC or NFA

Depending on how they wanna classify it.

08/25/2017 - 6:34pm I have to say you're right on point

especially concering trust/bank runs.  The Brexit vote plunged the Britsh Pound to lows not seen since the '08 financial crisis.  It still hasn't recovered.  Every time a Eurozone country has debt issues (Greece, Italy, Portugal and Spain) the euro swings with volitility.  Bank runs in Greece were frightening enough then add to the equation the many other countres supported by the Euro.  It's sobering to think that when one country sneezes, the rest of the eurozone (and world) could get the flu.

08/25/2017 - 5:27pm Bitcoin split already happened

August 1st IICR.

08/25/2017 - 4:35pm I trade for a living (just finished for the day)

and it would be nice if my broker (TradeStation) were to add cryto's to the menu.  I have a peer that trades cryto's and does well.  I wouldn't mind getting into ETH.  The volitility is ideal for scalpers/day traders.  I currently trade futures, mainly currencies and energies for the moment.  If the crypto market doesn't mind being regulated, I can see it becoming more of a widely accepted commodity to trade.  How all that unfolds is beyond me tho.  That's above my paygrade.  But here's hoping.

08/24/2017 - 8:19pm I'd prefer you leave Guam alone

I spent a year over there.  Fond memories.  Great duty station.

08/16/2017 - 2:52pm Forgot where I read this

I think it was from a local beat writer for UF but IIRC, Zaire is having a problem grasping the playbook.

08/13/2017 - 2:50pm What's with the mixed messages?

If you don't like the guy just say so.

08/11/2017 - 3:37pm lol I loved that

There was a lot of teaching going on today.  No wasted movement between drills and no wasted time.  You can hear how physical this team is gonna be this year.

07/29/2017 - 6:28pm I hear

EJ Levenberry

07/21/2017 - 9:17pm Mattis was my Battalion and then Regimental CO

Back in the day at 29 palms (7th Marines).  When it came time to reenlist, I had Col Mattis swear me in.  I also worked for him for a short time when I was at Regimental HQs.  He would sometimes have mandatory PME training (Primary Military Education) on Fridays at 1300.  We were to show up at The Stumps bar in town for refreshments.  Hell of a Marine.  Hell of a leader.

07/21/2017 - 3:59pm I like Robin Williams but favorite actor goes to

John Wayne.

07/18/2017 - 2:37pm How does it compare to the legendary

SEC bagmen ?

07/14/2017 - 9:24am Agreed. The stars lined up that nite

IIRC, the story goes Gibby went to Lasorda and said "I have 1 good at bat in me.  Use me."  It was Gibby's decision to PH.

An interesting sidenote:  A friend of mine was a family aquaintance of Lasorda.  Before it was public news that Gibby was signing with the Dodgers as a free agent, Lasorda told my friend that they just picked up a player that'll change the team.

07/14/2017 - 12:26am Kirk Gibson's World Series HR x 2

The first HR in '84 World Series.  Goose Gossage wanted to pitch to Gibby while Manager Dick Williams wanted to walk him.  Gossage talked Williams out of it and paid the price.

The second was when a hobbled Gibby (bad left hamstring and swollen right knee) Pinch hit with 2outs in the 9th and blasted one out vs Eck and the A's in '88.  Down 4-3 bottom 9th, 2 outs, full count, runner on 2nd.  Hollywood couldn't have written a better scene.  Dodger fans loved Gibby like we did.  I hated to see him leave Detroit.

07/05/2017 - 4:42pm This is one stage outta 21 with 16 more to come

While I understand your point, until Aru can be consistant and hang around further into the race, I'll give my nod to Froome.  There still are 2 tough summit stages left along with 3 or so hard mountain stages and an ITT on the last day before Paris.  I look for Froome to have the race in hand before then, considering he doesn't crash or have bad luck.  If Aru is within striking distance in the mid to late teen stages, he might have a chance.

I've actually been surprised by Contador's performance.  He doesn't have too many years left and I think he's on the other side of his prime.

06/17/2017 - 8:17am I had a chance to watch her last year

during the semis at MSU.  My daughter's team played in the opposite bracket.  She is a talented girl.  Can't wait to see what she can do at Michigan.

06/08/2017 - 7:09am Just watch'n Netflix

and chill'n.

05/18/2017 - 11:47am I had 2 within 3 months and it hurt like hell !!!!

Drink ALOOOT of water and hold your pee as long as you can.  Hopefully the buildup of pressure will help flush it out.  I went to the hospital and they sent me home with pain meds along with some other med to open the canal further (I think).   The problem was I was sooo sick I kept vomitting and all the fluids I was taking in was coming out just as fast.   I went to the hospital after 2 days and they removed it surgically.  Good luck, it hurts like hell as I'm sure you already know.

05/16/2017 - 9:16am What's wrong with emu farms?

I intend on raising emus shortly after I receive my check from the Nigerian Lottery that I'd won.

04/26/2017 - 11:04am I'd really like to see Danny Kanell

Get canned.

04/22/2017 - 5:40pm As long as we pick up

Devontae Dobbs for '19 class, I don't really care

04/11/2017 - 6:57pm that's a pretty cool article

Kinda proud to be part of this mgocommunity we have here

04/06/2017 - 4:10pm I grew up watching the Dean Martin Show

and his celebrity roasts.  Here's a bit from the man himself.  This is a great bit, especially when Dean Martin interupts Don Rickles mid joke just before the 2 minute mark.

03/29/2017 - 9:39pm You're in my neck of the woods

I've been to Genesys many a time.  I was born at McLaren in Flint as was my daughter.  Best advice, don't look at the placenta bag when the Doc pulls it out.  And get plenty of sleep before Tues.  Just because they're inducing doesn't necessarily mean it will be timely.  My daughter's birth was induced and it still took 18 hours.
