I will. Who is this guy?

I think if we put up 50 we should be okay

11/16/2018 - 3:28pm Let’s assume both Haskins…

Let’s assume both Haskins and Shea both leave.  If you were Harbaugh, would you trade McCaffery for Martell?  I wouldn’t. If they both come back I would take Shea over Haskins (so would both Harbaugh and Meyer). Looks like Michigan wins either way.

11/16/2018 - 10:05am Of course not. Sometimes…

Of course not. Sometimes they pretend they do but they don’t.

11/15/2018 - 2:35pm By the way did Zach Smith…

By the way did Zach Smith ever show up on Dakich’s show the other day.  Was supposed to do so on Tuesday

11/14/2018 - 3:59pm When he becomes a 6’6”  245…

When he becomes a 6’6”  245 TE he will like him even more as a TE

11/11/2018 - 9:29pm Correct, Smith is playing…

Correct, Smith is playing this all wrong. He has one shot to monetize his story. Michael Aventatti on line 2.

He’s got one more payday-his book-and he’s giving it away for free.

I am not at that point yet. Keep it coming!

11/11/2018 - 8:06pm Please don’t.

Please don’t.

Georgia looks really good. I am nervous they might beat Alabama which puts us at risk

I share this analysis. My only complaint is I would have liked to see more Black as a target. We need to see him as a threat

Can someone translate this into English please?  Thanks

11/07/2018 - 11:04am My choices as well. Need to…

My choices as well. Need to get Peters ready but also let’s get Black intergrated into the offense over the next two weeks

11/05/2018 - 9:09pm I believe if Michigan wins…

I believe if Michigan wins out we are in regardless of what happens elsewhere, especially if we win convincingly. Thus root for the outcome that makes it easiest to win out.

Root for NW-we will crush them in a rematch. I don’t want to play anyone else. Bonus is they will have a better record but as I said I don’t think it matters.

MSU-OSU?  If MSU wins it further demonstrates that OSU is weak. It also demotivates OSU going forward-they seem on the verge of a meltdown. As much as I hate to do it root for MSU so that OSU has nothing to play for and is easier pickings at The Game.

11/05/2018 - 6:46pm It’s great to be a Michigan…

It’s great to be a Michigan Wolverine. That was awesome.

Sounds like it was Harbaugh who made this happen. Further evidence of how much he means to the University.

11/05/2018 - 3:41pm I second this request. …

I second this request.  Would love to see it.

11/02/2018 - 8:23pm To add to this-this year’s…

To add to this-this year’s crop of QB’s is considered rather thin. Part of the calculus for Shea is who is in this class?  He may be #5 this year but #8 next year just given the competition.

10/30/2018 - 4:08pm Right. This is the opposite…

Right. This is the opposite of accepting responsibility

10/30/2018 - 10:46am Don’t care personally but…

Don’t care personally but makes him look bad to some. Check out Frost, he chews as well.

10/27/2018 - 10:35pm Well, it certainly helps the…

Well, it certainly helps the “win out and go to the playoffs“ scenario, which is the only thing that matters

10/23/2018 - 8:31pm Thanks OP. This is the gold…

Thanks OP. This is the gold standard of a post.

Informative, complete and provides context.

10/14/2018 - 12:52pm I don’t know but I think it…

I don’t know but I think it cool that the name of our long snapper is Cheesman. Perfect for this game. How did Wisconsin  not recruit him?

10/12/2018 - 8:56pm Agree. Seems like a really…

Agree. Seems like a really strange choice.

10/08/2018 - 8:39pm You forgot about the part…

You forgot about the part where Florida was getting ready to fire him for running a program beset with all sorts of player misconduct and worse yet, declining on-field performance.  He bailed just before his coaching legacy was damaged and his wife divorced him for banging a grad student.

The Smith story probably isn’t over yet. I have to believe she is thing up a major lawsuit that will make OSU pay up. The best play for Urban and OSU is for Urban to leave and OSU pay up without any finding of guilt or admission by Urban. Allows him to move on. Very similar to the Florida situation in that regard.

10/08/2018 - 8:27pm Doesn’t sound serious. I can…

Doesn’t sound serious. I can’t stand ND for lots of reasons but their track record is very good when it comes to dealing with player misbehavior.

10/08/2018 - 8:20pm It has been great to follow…

It has been great to follow Ace as he grew into his role at MGoBlog over the years.  It will be more meaningful to watch Ace as he takes on this next challenge.

All the best Ace and keep us up to date. Everyone is rooting for you.

10/08/2018 - 6:57pm Could be a distraction…

Could be a distraction strategy. Reporters will be less likely to press him if they think his head might explode.

10/02/2018 - 8:55pm These “scientific” methods…

These “scientific” methods as to who will win a game are no better than a knowledgeable observer who makes predictions based on that knowledge. S&P (even now with a + now attached) are useless, just like PFF. Fake science.

10/01/2018 - 9:27pm The problem isn’t with…

The problem isn’t with highly trained officials who do a good job in a difficult situation it is with the officials who do a clearly shitty job. Start firing officials and the performance will improve.

10/01/2018 - 9:23pm That is a great idea. No…

That is a great idea. No reason not to do it. They should adopt it tomorrow.

09/27/2018 - 11:35am Dumbest idea ever.  NO

Dumbest idea ever.  NO

09/24/2018 - 12:54pm Hornibrook is like Lewerke…

Hornibrook is like Lewerke in a couple of ways.  Experienced, played in a bunch of games.  Can be very accurate when hot but both can throw too many interceptions.  Lewerke is a better runner of course and has the stronger arm.

Both seem to save their best for Michigan.  They are dangerous.

09/22/2018 - 4:14pm Agreed. That’s a mistake. …

Agreed. That’s a mistake.  Get him off the field. He was almost hurt when a Nebraska OL illegally blocked him low.

09/19/2018 - 11:32pm Failing to advance…

Failing to advance commentary based on actual and current evidence is an affliction of the lazy-including the media and a whole bunch of people on this board.

For those of you who listen to the podcast, what do you think?

09/05/2018 - 12:45pm "... but one wonders how to…

"... but one wonders how to play around this glaring hole in the team?"

That would be an interesting subject for Brian to take on.  Instead we get a rehash of recruiting failures over the past few years, which we all know about.

09/04/2018 - 9:11pm Didn’t show up on my iPhone,…

Didn’t show up on my iPhone, iPad or desktop PC. Another 3.0 fail. It shouldn’t be so hard to be a customer of MGoBlog

09/03/2018 - 1:06pm I feel a little better after…

I feel a little better after watching that video.  Patterson can play.

The absence of big plays continues to be big problem.  I think there were only two shots downfield the entire game.

08/29/2018 - 1:17pm MGoBlog 3.0 and indifference…

MGoBlog 3.0 and indifference (at best) to football by Brian are a couple of the reasons that come to mind.

08/26/2018 - 12:00pm I think this is a smart move…

I think this is a smart move by Frost. They will be better in a couple of years by getting him on the field now.

08/23/2018 - 11:57pm The outcome of the Battle of…

The outcome of the Battle of Toledo was Ohio got Toledo and Michigan got the UP.

Big win for Michigan.

I will  be very happy if our future battle are as successful

Agree but he disappointed on this issue

08/22/2018 - 9:46pm Amen.

Amen.

Just watched the press conference. Shame on OSU.

08/21/2018 - 8:00pm Same for me.

Same for me.

08/21/2018 - 11:29am No. If new information comes…

No. If new information comes out it likely means Meyer didn’t tell the investigators everything. They will fire him for that.

08/18/2018 - 10:00pm Forget the somewhat strange…

Forget the somewhat strange comments by the player.

This appears to be playing out as it should. Player is (or is about to be) charged with DV and he is immediately suspended once the police charge. Player’s scollie is in place and he is given a chance to fight the allegations, but can’t play in the interim. Final decision awaits judicial process conclusion.

Rational process. Wisconsin has a good track record with player behavior. Let it play out.

08/16/2018 - 10:33pm Go down there but with a…

Go down there but with a plan. Arrange for him to go see an expert (best case Ciry of Hope in SoCal or equivalent). Make him do it and escort to appointment.

If that doesn’t work spend some time with your friend

Both scenarios are valuable for you and your friend

I have been there on both scenarios. Both the outcomes are okay. I also sat out one situation. I will always regret that.

08/16/2018 - 9:41pm I have regularly listened to…

I have regularly listened to the Harbaugh podcast. He is not going to share much information about the individual players outside of what he says publicly, and to that style he emphasizes the positive about players.

The reason to listen is to get insights about the guy. Anybody who listens will be proud that this guy is our coach. Beyond that you will come to realize that Oakland (or anyone else) is not in play and won’t be.

08/16/2018 - 9:57am Ouch.  Unfortunately sad but…

Ouch.  Unfortunately sad but largely true. The decline in content is very disappointing and worrisome. As a long time regular and grateful visitor to this site I hope the recent troubles and decline can be reversed. The OP’s idea of crowded sourcing transcripts, while well-intentioned no doubt, just highlights the cracks in the foundation around here.

I sincerely hope I will be proven wrong in the months to come.
