Just voted 47.37 for Peppers.

Fan votes always feel like sucker votes. There are 16 journalists who will decide the award; the fan vote is just a gimmick to get people to notice the award. If they actually cared about the fan vote, it would count for more than 1/17th of the voting.
Be honest, would anyone have heard of the Hornung Award if there weren't a fan vote?

I am with you on this even though I did my part and voted about a dozen times. In the end the fan vote is meaningless.

Peppers has done a lot for Michigan football, it's not exactly a lot of effort to show some support for him regardless of the impact it has on the result.

I voted for Peppers, because of that logic. But it still feels like clicking "like" for an ad campaign.

how is mississippi keeping up with us? If the full power of this blog comes to bare, we shouldn't lose!

If you see hot chicks, blow, and dollar bills hanging around the server room where this site is hosted you know they finally found the hosting computer's weak spot.

We need to start recruiting some Southern admins....Jesus. All we have are the big-yet-slow ones we have now:(

The entire SEC is voting for Ole' Miss because that's what they do. They root for rivals during bowl season, chant SEC SEC SEC like anyone cares, and think their worst team can beat the Big Ten's best team. We are dealing with that.

I believe it says the voting ends on Dec. 8th. I think the power of the blog itself can get him over the hump if we all start voting the day before.

I am sort of intrigued by the fact that USC or Stanford - by appearances - haven't been showing their own players a little more love, unless of course they've either conceded already or are just in general a little nonchalant about polls in general. Not that winning this vote may matter in the end (you are contending with 16 jounralists), but it's nice to support your team all the same, I feel.

Is this the award for most versatile player? What else does Nkemdiche do besides play on the D Line?
