Ohio State fan here.  Ignore…

Ohio State fan here.  Ignore those 2 con artist grifters.  Maybe they'll be right, but it will be by complete accident.

He literally wrote about 2…

He literally wrote about 2 specific games only and what he wrote about them was correct.

Congrats on building up a straw man to replace what he actually wrote and burning it down.

It probably make you feel good inside.

I see you had trouble…

I see you had trouble reading and comprehending what he actually wrote

Thanks.  I needed a laugh.

2018 Ohio State would like a…

2018 Ohio State would like a word unless you were referring only to this year.

This would be right.  I have…

This would be right.  I have season tickets in 4c and most of the opposing fans have been in 6c or 8c.

Notre Dame however was different.  There were a lot fans in my section and 2c and over.  I have no idea what to expect for this game.

I'll answer seriously.

I'll answer seriously.

https://osu.campusparc.com/media/wzbnwfsh/2022-football-parking-map.pdf

This is a map of gameday parking.  Red ($30) and Green ($25) lots are day of game, no permit required.  They open at 5am for tailgating.  The closer you are the earlier they fill up.

There is parking further west with a shuttle but I'm not familiar with it.

As a season ticket holder and someone who attended last weeks game against ND there were a lot of big groups of ND fans tailgating amongst the OSU crowd and there were no issues. Just a lot of fun and friendly back and forth bantering.  I even brought a friend of mine of 31 years who is a ND fan and had never gotten to see his team play as we both grew up and live in Texas.  We had no issues.

I'm sure the stories on here about asshole fans happen but in my experience I've never seen it.  I think that's mostly rare.

Have fun and you seem like a good husband.  I'm sure she'll appreciate it.

Well it isn't UGA/UF it's UF…

Well it isn't UGA/UF it's UF/Vandy.  I was just using the UGA/Candy game as reference.

Here's my slate for the week…

Here's my slate for the week.

Penn State ML +105  - $25

Alabama -17.5 - $100

Notre Dame -1 - $25

SMU -13.5 - $100

Wake Forest -6 - $25

Texas +3.5 - $25

Charlotte -3.5 - $25

A few others that I haven't done.

OSU -21.5  Should have done it at -21. I didn't so I'm staying away.

Michigan -3.  Still thinking.  Its gross betting on them.  And they've screwed me in the past whether i needed them to lose or win.  But I am1-0 this year on them.

Arkansas +5.5.  I disagree with OP.  I think the run game for The Hogs can help them cover.  Ole MIss run defense is bad.

I really love a 1st half team total for Auburn if i can find a number over 14.  I would hammer the under on that all day.  Bo Nix is in for a very bad day.

Florida/Vandy U 59.5 - Georgia called the dogs off but that was only 62-0.  Why wouldn't UF do the same?  I kind of like this rather than the spread.  Haven't bet it.

And a Bonus NFL pick (caveat:  I am negative the NFL this year, but still + overall.  CFB going well)  Teaser with BAL -1 and NE -3 - $150

No.  But it has nothing to…

No.  But it has nothing to do with the shirtless dude.  If you watch the whole video he's standing in the reflection the whole time.  Meyer is clearly reacting to something/someone else walking in.

Hardly a 5:30pm Friday news dump.

It seems many on this board have been all for exactly what he said.  He kind of echoed their feelings.

Its stupid Michigan doesn't do it

Yup, Gary definitely turned down a reported 300k from Clemson to sign with y'all for nothing because he believes in the pureness of amateur sports just like your school does.

YAY!!!

YAY!!!

Ya'll will just call me a…

Ya'll will just call me a troll but I'm pretty sure a package could be put together of your OL mugging Chase Young all game and since Brown has been around, sure your DB's have been good but they are the handsiest MFers on the planet and get away with their fair share of holding/PI.

As for favorable whistles in The Game, 2018 definitely was favorable to you.  In calls if not so much the scoreboard.

He does have a degree from…

He does have a degree from Ohio State.  I'd say he's a Buckeye even if his best year wasn't with OSU.

I know I've heard you guys say a Michigan grad who transferred out would always be a Wolverine.

And OSU fans almost universally cheered for him and didn't refer to him as a traitor/quitter like a previous poster said.  Pretty sure he made that up or cherry picked one dude.

getting downvoted hardcore…

getting downvoted hardcore but you couldn't be more right.

Losers whine.

Losers whine.

As an OSU fan I fucking…

As an OSU fan I fucking agree.

So let me get this straight…

So let me get this straight.  Tatoogate was something that Tressell did to get his players paid?

Pretty shitty program that requires you to give up your own belongings to get the money/benefits.  I mean Ebay does the same thing.  How is that an advantage?  They are trying to get these guys paid big money.  The price on the secondary market for gold pants returns a lot more than the value of a tattoo.  Even a large one.

Meyer killed it at Bowling Green and Utah too.  He did so before being in the scary SEC.  Was he implementing these direct pipelines of cash and benefits back then too.

In the Harbaugh era PSU is…

In the Harbaugh era PSU is slighty better.  I think they have one more win and a B1G title.

Well the results would be…

Well the results would be different for sure.  But he's been there 3 years and they have run 3 different schemes in those 3 years to accomadate for his personnel.  And, he's been successful doing it.

I'd say that's pretty good coaching.  Not saying he's coaching Jesus or anything but he should get some credit.

1.  I acknowledge the…

1.  I acknowledge the difference in the 2 but still.......

2.  BS Take.  The ball literally had to just touch the 15 yard line for the first down.  With the Video evidence, it is hard to say if it did or not. Why?  The angle of the camera was definitely a factor but also because it was that damn close.  One of the users on this very site did a thread and figured that Barrett did in fact make it based on mathematics and angles of view, etc.....  Yes, you get to complain about the 2 early missed DPI's but are you actually saying that led to 9!!!! drops.  You have watched UM cornerbacks play since Brown was hired right?  They get away with a ton. Also, you probably would not have liked if they called every time Young was held.  One of the most blatant was on the DPJ TD.  The targeting criteria??  You actually believe that was targeting on Fuller?  Even the worst homers probably don't believe that.

3. What?

4.  What again?

No kidding.  No one expects…

No kidding.  No one expects him to be happy but what a bunch of emo bullshit.

"No value judgment" he says in the middle of his multi paragraph rant on Fields taking online classes.  That's what you are reduced to whining about???

Geez.  Never mind the kid had a 3.9GPA and along with the usual big names he had offers from Northwestern (his first), Harvard and Yale.  You know schools that can legitimately look down their noses at UM academics (possibly Duke too of which he also had an offer.

UM ran an ad for their ONLINE MBA program DURING the game for crying  out loud.

Refs one year, online classes this year......what will be the reason UM loses next year?

So that play was something I…

So that play was something I figured would be mentioned alot here and watching it live it looked real late.

But, per the guy above @jdue51 has a lot of plays on his feed and this is one.  I watched  it over and over and the snap came just a hair after the clock hit zero.

Considering it is one officials job to watch the clock and when it hits zero look down to see if the ball was snapped, he would not have seen a delay of game because  of the slight delay in looking down at the snap.   He would have seen the ball in motion.

Idk.  Ask around and find…

Idk.  Ask around and find out what Gary got.  You know it wasn't 0 considering he could have gotten 300K from Clemson.

May I ask why you think it…

May I ask why you think it will mean a return to the "norm"?

In 2011 I'm pretty sure you guys thought the same thing.  I remember the after game thread.  In retrospect it was hilarious.  The comments about Hoke bringing y'all back and being the savior are almost cringeworthy in hindsight.

Granted, and this is a very important point, Harbaugh > Hoke, but it seems more like hope or maybe wishful thinking.

You may be right, and Day would catch some crap no doubt, but if he went on to win the NC it would mitigate it quite a bit.  I think it would take losing the next year at home before there were any real repurcussions or psyche shifts.

Kind of like the lender is…

Kind of like the lender is an NFL certified agent?????  That's bandied about here as if there were hardcore proof.  It was one, since deleted, report.  Not stopping many posters here from going with it.

Feel free to rule out Baylor…

Feel free to rule out Baylor.  A paper tiger if I've ever seen one.

Who kept changing the story?…

Who kept changing the story?   If you are referring to the differing media reports that is stupid.

I don't believe anything from OSU or Young changed.  If it did then you might have a point.

There are still people on here claiming that it is a known hardcore fact that an agent is the one that directly gave him funds.  That was debunked, but facts don't matter because OSU.

Again if this were Nico Collins, and the story from player and school wasn't changing and had the same facts you'd be arguing 2 games was too many.

Have your fun and make your jokes.  I know I would.  One poster on another thread said to go get a bunch of Monopoly money to throw at him.  That's a good one

Losing has fucked y'all up…

Losing has fucked y'all up good.

OSU waited till the schedule was weak?   Why report it at all.  The only reason it is out is because they did just that.

Also, after beating MSU we had a bye and then NW, the worst offensive team in the country.  Why no then?

Sure Wisconsin was next but if there was any fear that he's held out more than 2 games you sure as hell don't want it to be PSU and Mich to end it.

That's dumb and your PTSD is rearing it's head.

How do you know that? …

How do you know that?  Because it was reported once and then multiple people have come by out saying it's not true.

Honestly, no one on this board, 11W, RCMB, or anywhere else knows for sure.  But it must be worst case scenario because OSU.

If this was Nico Collins, you'd be touting all those reports how it wasn't an agent, how it was for his GF to watch him play, how it was paid back by April (and not it was paid back right before it came out so he could say he did, like I've seen here a lot including Brian), and how the NCAA rules are stupid.

You'd be railing on the NCAA and saying a one game suspension is more than enough based on things like the Manziel punishment.

I don't expect y'all to do anything but laugh at OSU, and hope he's out for The Game, because it's what I would do in a reverse scenario but the rest is pure bias.

Neg away bitches because I know you will but I'm no troll either.

You reasoning is flawed.  If…

You reasoning is flawed.  If we've been holding on to it to use at the right time then why not announce it right after the MSU game?

We had a bye and then Northwestern.  You know, the Northwestern that's ranked dead last in almost every offensive category.  Seems like a better time to me.

Yeah because Carlos…

Yeah because Carlos Spicyweiner is so high brow.

I would have loved to have…

I would have loved to have bet on this being the first answer on this board.  It would have been a no brainer.  Of course this being mgoblog the odds would have been something like -42000.

I guarantee it happens but y'all are all in delusions if you think the only reason you can't compete is due to bag men.

I was curious so I took a look.  The student section started a white out in 2004 but full stadium white outs did not begin until 2007 and have since occurred every year except 2010.

Record in total is 7-8 as mentioned above.

Record in full white out games is 5-6.

They are 2-3 vs OSU (1-3 in full white outs).

They are 3-2 vs Michigan (3-1 in full white outs).

No other teams have faced more than 1 white out.

Michigan and OSU have basically taken turns being the white out opponent every year beginning in 2010 with #3 Alabama being the lone exception in 2011.

The only unranked teams to walk out of a white out with a win are 07 ND and '10 Michigan.

I agree that if his lack of…

I agree that if his lack of fire is because he is bummed that some players skipped a bowl game then he is extremely weak.  I also find it highly unlikely that is why he is they way he is now.

One small issue upon a growing number of annoyances and he isn't feeling it I could see.  No way is it the main reason.

Also, Bosa was injured (legitimately) and the absolute earliest he could have been back was mid December.  I don't consider that sitting out.

Gotta love those Ohio State…

Gotta love those Ohio State QBs huh?

Y'all already lost to Rutgers

It ain't just y'all.

It ain't just y'all.

2 years in a row here recently we had to play MSU and you guys bckb to back.

Next year we have to play PSU and you guys back to back.

That sucks and is definitely not a favor from the B1G.

No Chickenshit Saturdays here.

Because his mom had/has…

Because his mom had/has cancer. She provided oncologists reports to the NCAA in order to qualify for the hardship waiver.

You have heard of kids getting homesick when they go off to college right?  Perhaps he was sensitive to that and then his mother gets sick.

It is just possible they went down there to talk with him about his future and support him in his choice.  The AD of the St. Thomas Aquinas says the meeting was a good meeting and nothing like what McMurphy alleges went down.  But I know, I know, Urban is the devil incarnat3e.

Every player that has responded has said the same thing.  This didn't happen.

This isn't hard.

The story is well balanced? …

The story is well balanced?  He basically took an accusation by a ne'er-do-well father, one that wasn't in the kids life and used it to character assassinate everyone in the story, including his source all so he can go after Urban.

Players all say it is bogus.  Grimes himself liked Tate Martell's tweet that this is BS.  His mother says it is bupkus.  The principal of the high school where the meeting was at says nothing weird happened at the meeting (he was there).

This is literally a scorched earth attempt to go after Urban and Smith.
