They all do, that's why this franchise will continue to suck. One playoff win in 60 years is exactly what they deserve. I'm starting to believe Lions fans enjoy losing because it's part if their identity. Kind of like being the Cubs of the NFL.
They also could have lost in Green Bay if the Packers kicker doesn't end up missing the game ending FG (Packers have also proven to be a fraud this year). Sorry, but I'm not getting excited over some late season wins against a bunch of crap teams.
I was hoping they would go after John Harbaugh. Then again it's hard to make such a hire without a GM (how is that national search going?) and a team president that was running Greenfield Village.
He has zero sources in the AD. His Michigan source has always been Art Regner. When it comes to recruiting, Art is not someone that has inside info.

Kelly is still a top level coach who will probably get another shot in the NFL. I wouldn't be surprised if he takes the Tennessee Titans job. It would be a great opportunity to coach his former QB.
Players like Webb, Webber and Corley should never leave the state in the future. Harbaugh needs to build a wall like Tressel did during the Carr era. It would help if some of our high school coaches pushed kids to Michigan. OSU basically has every Ohio coach on their side.
I watched the replay a few hours ago and the announce team was brutal. I used to think Mike Patrick was OK, but it must have been because he was working with Blackledge all those years.
I've hated him since he came to PSU and was negative recruiting against us. He actually tried to swipe Peppers away from us. As JUB has mentioned before, there's a big difference between BOB and Franklin.
The Big XII won't last long. They can't get anyone worth a damn to join their conference and will always be at a disadvantage without a conference title game. It all comes down to when Texas decides to join the Pac-12. As soon as that happens, we'll have four super conferences with 16 teams each.
Why should ND get another shot at Clemson or allow Stanford to play for a national title with two losses. The only team you can make a case for is OSU, but it's their own fault for losing a division game with everything on the line. They knew what was at stake and blew it, which is why the regular season is still meaningful.
If you wanna blame someone for 2001 and Tressel, it should be Drew Henson. He told Carr not to recruit another QB and then bailed on the team when everyone was counting on him to be the leader of that 2001 team.
