Here's a fun link freestyle rapping: https://myspace.com/dconega/video/d.cone-goin-in-for-life.-/53961047
Now he's doing other artistic stuff as a performer. Apparently he has many musical influences outside of rap. He got an segment on the Atlanta AM morning show, and also has some filmmaking shorts:

Nice to see him going for it.

Tom Brady. That 1999 season was just a tad short of great. Only if LC found a way to utilize both him and Henson in the offense without throwing everything else in chaos.

Yeah, but there were never any try to get a cohesive game plan utilizing them. Tom would start and then Henson would come in the second quarter and the 'hotter hand' would go in the second half.
But it always seemed so ad-hoc. It didn't seem to flow cohesively.

Dennis Franklin's record 30-2-1
He was a great runner and could throw a pinpoint bomb down field.

Michigan has had a lot of great quarterbacks, but for me:
Denard and Devin are my favorites. Dynamic players and great program ambassadors who set the bar for handling themselves with class.
It's going to take a lot for them to be overtaken in my book.

I think Brian Griese is definitely high on my list because national champions and Tai Streets. Griese to Streets ranks near the top of my favorite QB to WR connections at Michigan. Anyone else have any favorite QB-WR combos?
November 12th, 2015 at 5:04 PM ^
but my favorite that year was the Griese / Tuman connection, especially on those naked boot legs for TDs
November 12th, 2015 at 5:36 PM ^
I also started to reminisce on the Griese-Tuman connection as I was typing that post. Jerame Tuman was definitely one of my favorite pass catchers for the reason you just mentioned.
November 12th, 2015 at 5:38 PM ^
Griese/Tuman bootleg play worked almost everytime they tried it....
November 12th, 2015 at 5:51 PM ^
That play seemed to work every single time they ran it. That was a wonderful year.

and it's not that close even to Harbaugh-Kolesar, Grbac-Howard, or Navarre/Henne-Edwards.
November 13th, 2015 at 12:00 AM ^
I think the stat is that Carter scored a touchdown every eighth time he touched the ball. People talk about how exciting Denard was, and he was clearly exciting. But a player as electric as AC in an era where the average score was probably 17-13 is on a whole different level.

Harbaugh to Kolesar. Best shitt ever.
November 12th, 2015 at 4:45 PM ^
The only thing that will change that is the QB who wins the National Championship under Harbaugh.

Lots of love for Todd Collins too. Always thought he got screwed in the pros. Played well when given a chance.

It wasn't so bad. Him "getting screwed" allowed him to hang around and get paid for 16 years.

I am related to him somewhere down the line.
I did not grow up in Michigan or follow the wolverines until I went to school there. So of course, you learn about 1969 and the Ohio State win once you are there. One of the all time boiggest wins in Michigan history.
When I eventually found out who the QB was for the that milestone game, I was floored.

The OP said favorite, I'm forever indebted to Griese for being the QB on the National Championship team but he wasn't one of my favorites. He never got me excited about how he was gonna play. He was good Rudock.
November 12th, 2015 at 5:37 PM ^
Are you smoking crack, Tyrone? Good Rucock won't sniff the NFL. Griese had an 11 year career in the NFL and went to the Pro Bowl at least once.
And, as you noted, won us our last NC.
My list:
1. Griese
2. Brady
3. Henne
4. Denard
5. Henson - love/hate with him.
November 12th, 2015 at 5:51 PM ^
Ha, why yes, I am actually <exhales>. Harbaugh said that Rudock has pro potential. Don't get me wrong I think Griese speaks for itself just not my personal favorite. To each their own, we've had so many good ones that everyone should be happy.

Brady was pretty awesome back in 1999, that was my freshmen year. Oh the memories...
November 12th, 2015 at 4:56 PM ^
When it comes to Denard Robinson. Guy was super exciting, but hopefully no one forgets that he just couldn't throw the ball. His horrid touch on deep balls really hamstrung this team on occasion.
