Should be deleted automatically.

Otherwise, we need to accept MLive's board as a credible representation of Michigan fans. I'm not ready to do that.

Their commenters on average are at least the quality that we have here.

Yeah.... gonna have to agree to disagree there.  A non-zero portion of their commenters are fine enough, but in aggregate they're garden variety Ohio trailer trash who think that "scUM" is Shakespearean wit and wordplay.

A bunch of scared Nuts fans over there. I went through the thread, and some posters are actually taking us seriously. And then you get the ones who put their fingers in their ears and scream *LALALALALALA I can't hear you*. Wonder what the rhetoric will be once we beat Sparty and they struggle vs Penn St on Saturday.

i don't think everyone on this thread actually read the link like you and I did. Otherwise why the down votes? All I did was report what you and I observed. Lots of buck fans are paying attention and are worried. Some are living in the past and don't want take a look around.

They have a 23 game big ten winning streak, not to mention winning the first playoff NC.

And most of their key players are back.

I would be delusional too.

They can be king of the mountian until someone knocks them off - Michigan in November.

I actually enjoyed reading their comments. A lot of the posters seem way more sensible than a lot of the garbage we get to read on our pages over the last couple of years.

OSU is the defending natioanl champs and they've dominated us for over a decade.  Pardon me for not wanting to talk smack to them right now.  I like our chances this year, but its a long road back before I'm talking smack to them.

"Delusional" seems like a strong word to describe fans of a team that is ranked number one in the country, is the defending national champion, hasn't lost a Big Ten regular season game in 3.5 seasons under its current head coach, has the longest active winning streak in FBS (even if it hasn't played its best in many of those wins), and has beaten its arch rival 12 out of the last 14 years.

I know we're all feeling like Michigan is on top of the college football world right now, but let's tone down the "OSU LOLZ" rhetoric until Michigan actually does something to demonstrate that it's back on par with OSU (like, oh I don't know, beat them).

They have much better talent (at least depth), they're the reigning NC and they have the winningest coach in Urban. They've pummeled or eked out but generally owned UM for 15 years. They are #1 in the only thing that truly matters to them. So they know this is the pinnacle of confidence. The mind says why be concerned? But along comes UM with some talent, one year removed from 5-7 and Harbaugh on the sideline. Transfer QB is improving, O is competent and the D is great. Plus there is some real momentum in AA for the first time in many years. Suddenly UM is a trending threat at OSU's pinnacle. The gut says WTF? Harbaugh's crazy competitiveness and scheming brilliance are impossible to ignore as foundational to a great program. The mind ponders if UM had similar talent and a little more time with Harbaugh - the equation shifts strongly to UM. The mind starts to say Uh Oh. UM hasn't yet proven to be the "biggest bully on the block" but the mind and the gut are starting to share a similar feeling ...

I agree with the sentiment that we ain't done jack shit until we knock them off. I also agree that they are not to be taken lightly. However any buc fan that doesn't take notice about what is happening in the conference and buries their head in last years run are doing themselves a diservice. This isn't the same Michigan Football program of the last 8 years.

Could we lose to MSU? Yeah, but it won't be like they did in years past. If they win it's just one more step in the progression of this program in it's return to prominence. If that happens ,not only should the rest of the conference be on alert but other conferences should as well. That certainly doesn't mean that they have arrived but it does show that the previous 5 victories weren't a fluke and they're for real.
