META: Sexybits reprieve???

Submitted by 004 on

Apparently the interwebs did not take kindly to Google trying to replicate Disney's clean-up of Times Square and they have relented on the no-sexybits rule.

MGoOverlords - any chance of a reprieve when celebration is called for?

- OR -Did I misunderstand Google's change?

Thanks

(I'm not really this hard up for female content, but the board does seem to come to life for some beefcake / Kate Upton)

What's with all this grammer carp? Its like a nucular bomb went off in hear. Your all so dum. Next time, you should warn my fellow posters and myself that this is coming. Instead of banning you to Bolivian, maybe we should just send you to the Antartic. For all intensive purposes, this thread is just an epic fail now. It may be your perogative to be a grammer dork, but its mine to exscape this thread while theres still time.

If you want the best damn Michigan contect on the web, go to MGoBlog.

If you want pics of scantily clad women, there are quite a few other cites on the web that you can go to.

Without getting into the rest of the internet and Google's policies, I'd definitely prefer keeping the sexybits off the site in general. There are literally millions of sites to see whatever type of naked people you prefer and they're all completely off topic for MGoBlog.

I kind of think of it this way: when I first moved I started at a gym that was mainly body builders and power lifters. It was a good group of guys, not meat heads, but we still were a very "guy" oriented place.

There were girly calendars etc. The owner decided he wanted to bring in a broader range of people. He kept the equipment and trainers that we liked, but added more female trainers who were good at weight loss and toning.

Taking his lead we cleaned up our behavior. Mainly because a lady coming who is making the effort to get back into shape and get healthy should be encouraged. Not put off by The previous members acting like knuckle heads.

If my new avatar managed to get through the sexybits police then just about anything goes IMO.  As I'm sure everyone has noticed by now the new look is dramatically more revealing and leaves little to the imagination.

it's good to have some public bewb-free place.  That said, the SI swimsuit issue had Jessica Gomes and Hanna something wandering around Yellowstone with flyrods and waders.  'Bout killed me.

I'm becoming less fond of Google's business practices each day.  But they have the power so they can make the rules.  I like tits as much as the next guy, but this is the internet after all.  It's like 90% porn, so I can live without it on a single website.
