He's trying to be bumped up to "First Andrew."
|08/22/2018 - 1:41pm||Larry Nassar was tried,…||
Larry Nassar was tried, convicted, and sentenced to a billion years of the most uncomfortable flavor of incarceration this country offers.
John Engler remains the president of a major state university, and has used that post to minimize everything that Larry Nassar did in the most callous and dickheaded manner imaginable.
So... shut up?

One way to settle it; show them all, WD
"But his emails" is certainly a stance once could take, I suppose

You clicked on "coaches hot seat dot com."
There's a certain Michael Bluth Opening A Bag Labeled 'Dead Dove Do Not Eat' quality inherent in that.

From my understanding, Win Expectancy basically says, "given this box score (other than the points part), what are the odds that Team A won? If one team dominates yards, first downs, 3rd down conversions, etc, they will be seen as having the better chance to have won.
|11/09/2017 - 11:42am||Thanks||
Although they mostly weren't "troubles." It was mostly just a busy couple of work weeks.
One week of standard issue illness, though... those were troubles.
|11/09/2017 - 11:41am||You are mistaken||
As I CLEARLY said "dual threat."
/glances knowingly at the "edit" button, winks.
|11/02/2017 - 3:01pm||Okay||
Michigan is flawed. Buuuuuuut on paper Michigan is better. There's no debating that. Michigan is better in the following areas:
I mean... shit, man.
|11/02/2017 - 10:31am||True||
But which way did the causality work? HMMMMMMMMMM?
|10/31/2017 - 10:30am||More like||
|10/31/2017 - 9:58am||Look man||
I put the article in the mail. I have no idea why you didn't get it. Must be the mailman. He's always seemed a little shady to me.
WHY DOESN'T ANYONE BELIEVE ME?
It was a busy work week, then another insanely busy work week, then the whole family got the flu. It'll be back this week. I super-swear.
|10/05/2017 - 1:26pm||Yeah||
I went back and forth on including them. Sometimes people are more/only willing to give to organizations they've heard of. On the other hand, some people like giving money to organizations that are... oh, what is word... effective.
|10/05/2017 - 11:44am||I MAY have been bluffing||
But now we'll never know.
Thank you regardless.
|10/05/2017 - 11:40am||You are correct||
|09/28/2017 - 1:22pm||This||
|09/28/2017 - 12:58pm||ACTUALLY||
Believe it or not, I googled it, and there is some uncertainty. This is what I found:
The grammar is correct. "Victor" should not be understood as a noun here, but as an adjective. Not "Rome [is] the victor", but "Rome [is] victorious." The adjective "victor" is not inflected for gender in the nominative singular.
I speak absolutely zero Latin, so I have no idea which is true.
|09/28/2017 - 10:22am||It means||
It means "oops, shit, let's fix that before anyone notices"
|09/21/2017 - 12:42pm||Oops, yeah||
That should have been "5 plays of 20+ yards"
|09/11/2017 - 12:35am||You're gonna get downvoted||
People are going to tell you that you're wrong about how women are treated here despite (a) being a woman who (b) has spent 20,000 points worth of time here.
I'm sorry about that.
|09/11/2017 - 12:27am||It's the name||
Think of it as "Ann is a whore."
It's still pretty stupid.
|09/07/2017 - 2:34pm||SIR||
This is an Illinois-free zone this year. I'm going to have to ask you to take that outside.
But god they are bad.
|09/07/2017 - 11:07am||It's not sexy||
And obviously, too conservative isn't much better than too aggressive. But there's something to be said for playing the percentages.
If Kevin Sumlin had looked at the scoreboard last weekend and said "time to run the ball a little bit," Texas A&M fans might be moderately upset that the Aggies let UCLA get back within a couple of scores by the end of the game. But... there are worse things that can happen.
|09/07/2017 - 10:41am||But||
A big part of putting the game out of reach was the offense not making the kind of mistakes that would either give Florida points or a short field.
In that game, given everything we'd seen, a two-score lead with Florida forced to drive the length of the field was the same as putting it out of reach.
|08/28/2017 - 10:04am||The irony?||
I can tell where a lot of the research for that series came from...

|08/15/2017 - 2:59pm||Perfectly fair point||
And I;m not even talking necessarily about this specific instance. I've just heard people say in the last few days that this isn't a time to joke about these guys, and I think that when talking about jokers, joking is among the most reasonable responses.
|08/15/2017 - 2:48pm||I disagree||
I think Nazis are always something we should laugh at.
We should take the threat they pose seriously, and deal with the risks and damage they cause with the greatest means available under the law. They are a threat to national security and our basic moral fiber.
But they WANT to be taken super-seriously. They want to be seen as a legitimate threat to the current social order. We shouldn't grant them that. They are inherently ridiculous; they are LARPers who think their wooden shields and tiki torches make them some sort of insurgent army. I have no problem pointing and laughing at these silly, small men.
|08/15/2017 - 2:36pm||My two cents||
Last fall, EVERYONE - Michigan and Sparty alike - agreed that the MSU headline was stupid and self-defeating and worthy of mockery. Every sports fan knows that asking for credit for your moral victories is asking for still more mockery.
So when these Nazi douchebags try to claim victory, we all rightly point and laugh and say "if you're asking for credit for a moral victory, we point and laugh at you."

I had to take a QB. And in a weird twist, those other guys are still gonna be there in later rounds, but Brian was certainly going to grab Peters at some point to handcuff his Speight pick. I took the only QB who was certain to be selected later.
|07/11/2017 - 10:41am||I think it's the title||
Perhaps "Four Dudes Obsessively Analyze Rutgers Offensive Line Play And Other Assorted Big Ten Shit So As To Better Prepare For Providing Insight During The Season And Figure People Would Rather Have The Option Of Reading The Fruits Of That Analysis In Marginally Interesting Content Form As Opposed To Having Everything Be Behind The Scenes" would be better received?

|06/14/2017 - 4:55pm||Nah||
|05/03/2017 - 12:27pm||The point||
is that Nassar isn't the only one with something on the line here. In a court of law, he's the one on trial. In the court of public opinion, everyone (accuser, accused, and bystanders) is being evaluated. Larry Nassar deserves the courtesy of a thoughtful evaluation of the facts. But so does Rachel Denhollander.
