and winning national titles at the collegiate level. Then, of course, we mustn't forget his success at CMU and Cinncinnati. Kelly's track record before ND is excellent.
At ND it has been mediocre other than 2012.
ND was always his first choice, but ND didn't offer until late.
Seems to me that we pulled a young man who happened to recently win MVP in the MI/OH All-Star game away from PSU in this manner. Just like McDowell's recruitment should not have contained all the drama brought about by his parents, I don't necessarily like to lose top level talent to a rival - which won't be the case w/the Irish - for who knows how long, but when all is said and done, I want it to be the player's choice. We definitely have had and all will have a large number of h.s. AAs that grew up loving the maize and blue, that when kids chose where they really want to play we more than hold our own. Now if we could just get back to winning 10-11 games consistently we would get even more because of the "Cool" factor.
Or because you see him yelling on TV like every single football coach since the beginning of the game and you think you know him on a personal level?
Do you have any idea what Bo would have looked like with constant HD close-ups throughout the game?
Do we know why exactly he decided to make the switch? Committed to early? Negative recruiting?
It was because ND scored 3 more points than us against 'Bama a couple years ago.
Oh, shit, you're right. I thought they scored 17 for some reason.
It must be because of scenic South Bend, IN.
Did OSU cancel his planned visit or did he, for example.
He wanted to go to ND from the beginning, we just offered early and the loss of the defensive coordinater hurt us.
Fuck Notre Dame.
That is all.
Chicken is a dish best served in the fall.
I like it best right before it turns purple:
No "check all that apply?"
This shouldn't surprise anyone.
At all.
Not until they sign on the dotted line and put on the uniform are they truly "committed".
I know that nobody will ever say they chose another school because of the depth chart, but...
He didn't really fit the big physical corners we have been going after anyways... I wasn't excited about his signing but best of luck to him
all salty about this, but what's the point when I can get....

So you're saying to use logic, common sense, and human decency even when that results in a negative outcome for UM? That...doesn't make sense to me.
I would assume that the OP doesn't see it as a negative since Crawford wouldn't start over Watson (assumption from OP) and by the time Crawford sees the field for ND, we won't be on their schedule.
I think he's saying you should tweet at him.
Although I don't like it, I'm not too worked up about it. It's always nice to have a quality player and you never want to lose them to a rival, but I'd rather have Taylor if given the choice and am excited about UM's backfield potential.
But, wouldn't Crawford have to wait it out for guys like Butler, Luke, and Russell to move on before he would likely land a starting job at CB too? I mean those guys are the same year as Stribs & Lewis. Plus, I always hear guys like other talented guys to come to the same school and aren't afraid of competition because there will be competition everywhere. Ty Isaac wasn't scared off by Green, Webber doesn't seem scared off by Isaac, etc. And, it obviously doesn't bother Garrett Taylor (btw too many Taylors). I get that every guy is different, but I personally disagree with your logic unless Crawford is saying that himself. I just think for whatever reason he likes or feels more comfortable at ND which makes your head scratch but to each his own. I hope he's happy and that UM has more success than ND does, cheers to both parties.
You missed the one I deleted.
If only this actually matched reality.
since he won't play against us.
Plus, the hate I feel towards OSU (or even MSU) just isn't there for Notre Dame.
Im happy the kid gets to play where he wants. At the same time why was he committed to UM at all? Seemed like he always wanted Notre Dame and still had plenty of time to get an offer when he committed. After all these crazy early commits and decommits there should be some rule on early verbals being silent or noncommittal offers til a certain point, such as summer before senior year. That's not a slight at the athletes either, committing early puts an unnecessary pressure on them while they narrow down their choice of school.
change of DC. Old DC didn't think he was warranted one...enter new one who thought differently.
As much as I hate to think of UM as anyones 2nd choice lets be real. UM will not be everyones first choice. Since the committment is only verbal why not commit until ND offers?
I dislike a decommit as much as the next guy but its part of the game.
