12/02/2018 - 10:56am Big numbers that stick out…

Big numbers that stick out to me:

0: Personal fouls on Jon Teske. That's incredible for a big guy, especially against a competent 5 like Haarms (who, by the way, only logged 19 minutes).

3: Number of players with both 1 minute played and 1 personal foul. Not really significant, you just don't see that every day.

4: Number of turnovers by Jordan Poole. 3 of those 4 could've been avoided with a little discipline. If he cuts that number in half, this game is an even bigger blowout.

9: Points by Charles Matthews. Kinda seemed like Michigan was scuffling to get him into double figures for a while there. A lot of that scoreless stretch felt like Matthews going cold.

84.6: Free throw % for Michigan. 11 of 13 is a number that you can be quite happy with, and I'm hoping (though probably not...) that it's a sign of things to come.

10/27/2018 - 11:22pm Nope. Grew up a Yankees fan …

Nope. Grew up a Yankees fan (in Cincinnati, OH); my great grandpa owned a dairy business in the Bronx back in the day. Raised a whole family of us.

Hey, he was still great. Madson's hot garbage.

10/12/2018 - 7:03am Who the hell likes a buzz…

Who the hell likes a buzz cut MORE than Thor hair? This is absurd.

10/11/2018 - 5:49pm Maybe this doesn't hold up…

Maybe this doesn't hold up on re-watch, but something seemed new to me:

I felt like Michigan was waiting to line up, even *disguising* the way they lined up until Maryland committed to a formation. Almost like the defensive choo-choo formation. Have they done this in the past and I just missed it?

09/23/2018 - 12:51pm BC has a good fan base in…

BC has a good fan base in Chestnut Hill, but no one in Boston gives a damn about college football, either.

09/19/2018 - 10:23pm I see no reason to feel bad…

I see no reason to feel bad for asking for (and subsequently getting) an answer to a question I didn’t know the answer to.

All the fucking nonsense on here could’ve been avoided if literally everyone who didn’t want to talk about it simply didn’t click on the thread.

All I did was ask a question. So really, this is all on you nutcases who decided to be know-it-all pricks.

09/19/2018 - 9:50pm Wasn't gonna ask about Logan…

Wasn't gonna ask about Logan Brown. Honestly, the Dobbs story is just one I flat-out hadn't seen, and I don't pay attention to high school coaches so that's not really part of the equation for me.

I'm on-and-off with recruiting, so I figured after a cursory search that yielded minimal results, I'd just ask. Apparently this spot is still sore. On the bright side, I have a little bit better idea WHY.

09/19/2018 - 9:47pm Fucking hell.

I wasn't…

Fucking hell.

I wasn't asking "why on earth wouldn't he want to go here?" I wasn't suggesting "Harbaugh can't recruit."

I was literally asking what the circumstances were. Like what actually happened. I couldn't find it when I looked.

You guys are a bunch of peaches.

09/19/2018 - 9:39pm Fair enough. I honestly just…

Fair enough. I honestly just completely missed any discussion of this dude, and there aren't a lot of details surrounding it on board history without wading through 200-some comments about whether or not he'll be a bust.

09/19/2018 - 9:36pm It has? Link? I've been…

It has? Link? I've been looking for it.

09/19/2018 - 9:35pm Dude, I looked it up and I'm…

Dude, I looked it up and I'm just not seeing what happened. I clearly missed something, and I'm asking what it is.

09/19/2018 - 9:33pm Or you could try 1)…

Or you could try 1) answering a well-meaning question or 2) staying the fuck out of it.

But that's cool...

07/28/2018 - 4:49pm To me, there's no other…

To me, there's no other coach for this team. He's our horse, whether we like it or not. I happen to like it.

07/07/2018 - 9:51am If Quavaris Crouch doesn't…

If Quavaris Crouch doesn't use the Sorting Hat in his commit video, then I don't even know anymore, man.

05/27/2018 - 5:34pm Definitely consider trying to

Definitely consider trying to add some cash onto his offer. Also, feel free to come back to this post and let me know what questions you have.

The post below mine contrasts Chicago with Boston - and I have actually found the opposite to be true. I lived in Chicago, spent a year and a half there, and got almost no traction. In Boston, I have some great friends I've made pretty organically.

I'm originally from Cincinnati, so it's not like my ties here are really deep.

05/27/2018 - 4:44pm Hi there. As you may be able

Hi there. As you may be able to tell, I live in Boston. I actually moved back here from Chicago about 6 months ago. It's home for me, and I'm happy to discuss anything you'd like.

Cost of living is...high. Especially coming from Little Rock. But you can do a lot with negotiation power. The schools in Brookline are top-notch. Cambridge is great. There are other locations that are awesome as well.

I have a lot of thoughts on this, and can definitely help more. Let me know what you need.

05/01/2018 - 7:25pm Every time I see the Poole

Every time I see the Poole gif, the first thing I think about is that unfathomable laser that Livers throws to Rahk. Like how is that even possible.

04/30/2018 - 4:34pm Something familiar...

His last unofficial before he committed was to...

04/21/2018 - 3:05pm It's true. Even Dugan Fife

It's true. Even Dugan Fife averaged 4.1 for his career.

04/02/2018 - 9:58pm Just tweeted "DiVincenzo

Just tweeted "DiVincenzo going full Luke Hancock." Ugh.

04/02/2018 - 9:57am I don't think Michigan will

I don't think Michigan will win. Villanova is real, real good. That said, if we can keep from turning the ball over like we did against Loyola and Houston, we can keep them operating in half-court. That's how we have a shot.

03/27/2018 - 10:59am I say we pay him, naturally,

I say we pay him, naturally, but we also have a similar type of fan section as we did for Evan Smotrycz. Only THIS time: Yakwiches. That's right. Yaks. Between bread.

Make it happen, Maize Rage.

03/26/2018 - 3:28pm HALOL

03/19/2018 - 10:09pm Haas-ta la vista, baby.

Haas-ta la vista, baby.

03/19/2018 - 3:06pm The funny part is that it's

The funny part is that it's not even the first time in Poole's basketball career that he's made that exact shot.

But ok. Luck. Sure.

03/18/2018 - 12:44am Lost in all of this is the

Lost in all of this is the fact that I want Isaiah Livers to inbound the ball on every single play.

02/26/2018 - 1:14pm Oban 14 is $70 at my local

Oban 14 is $70 at my local packie. I've seen it as low as $59 in the last 3 years.

So I guess what I'm saying is...look me up when you get to Boston and we'll grab a Scotch.

And let me know if you need a reco on a moving company.

02/26/2018 - 7:10am Add another vote for Oban.

Add another vote for Oban. Personally, I don't know that there's a better quality-to-price ratio in existence than Oban 14. $65-70 for a bottle that's just as good as Macallan 18 (and to tell the truth, I like it more).

02/15/2018 - 2:26pm I believe it is for many

I believe it is for many readers, especially given the volume of responses to that effect. Again - I'm not worried about the political correctness. Shooters in basketball games do, in fact, shoot basketballs. What I'm talking about is the context. I don't think it's in poor taste. I do think it distracts from the points he's trying to make.

02/15/2018 - 2:00pm 1) So?
2) I'm not upset

1) So?

2) I'm not upset about it from a political correctness standpoint. To me, it's more of a writing question.

02/15/2018 - 1:57pm I appreciate what you're

I appreciate what you're saying. I have already called my congressman, as well as both my senators. All I'm saying is that "Shooters get to shoot" instantly evokes thoughts about this shooting given the timing.

By all means, talk about basketball terminology. But I'm sure you can see why this particular sentence might cause a reader's thoughts to go elsewhere?

02/15/2018 - 1:37pm Yeah, maybe not the best

Yeah, maybe not the best timing for this one.

01/30/2018 - 2:58pm His parents must be so proud.

It's already hanging, as far as I'm concerned. Even before the Louisville scandal, that block on Siva was clean.

01/03/2018 - 1:51pm I'm 100% onboard with

I'm 100% onboard with expansion, and I think they absolutely did deserve a fair title shot. That said, if you think claiming a title is going to get the NCAA's attention, you've underestimated the NCAA's capacity for ignoring shit.

01/02/2018 - 4:07pm What about Joe Flacco?

What about Joe Flacco?

01/01/2018 - 8:07pm My avatar is Christopher

My avatar is Christopher Walken. Is that also his? It doesn't look like it to me.

01/01/2018 - 6:25pm For sure. But the argument

For sure. But the argument above is "spread = better." So that's what my comment is responding to.

01/01/2018 - 6:10pm Alabama isn't a spread.

Alabama isn't a spread. Moorhead has specifically said his offense is a combo zone read/West Coast offense. Notre Dame is very pro-style heavy. Mobile QB doesn't mean spread.

01/01/2018 - 6:08pm They are literally all

They are literally all superior to us right now.

01/01/2018 - 6:05pm I mean...I don't think he's

I mean...I don't think he's everything that's wrong with the fan base, but he sure seems awfully satisfied for a guy named "neversatisfied."
