Former five star OT from Stanford. Why not a few more Joe Moore award winning O-lines?

Wow pretty cool but also appears there will be some attrition from the current roster.

Myles should talk to his teammate Arlen Harris Jr who was a 4* RB we were after in the 22 cycle.

I’m probably going to be alone here but I don’t know if I love this. Hoping it’s not an indication of where Zinter/Keegan are at in their decisions. We are going to have a ton of attrition based on the way we are hitting the portal, and I’m hoping it’s not Keegan/Zinter. While Hinton was a 5 star at one point, he dropped a ways in his senior year and I don’t think he was great at Stanford. We will see, but I’m not as excited about this as I was for Henderson. Who was a 3 star out of HS but an all conference player.

This is the deal. The 2-deep on both the OL and DL is going to be insane next year. While, at this time, the team cannot and will not be looking ahead to next year we fans do have that luxury. As things stand, the only holes in next year's roster are BPONE created ones.  The 2023 Michigan team will be a top 5 squad with legitimate #1 potential. Here, the only reasonable concern is how intact the coaching staff remains...because if they sit tight for a couple more years-oh my!

where's them folks that say your coaches don't have to win awards to be able to attract the great players?

What does that have to do with your comment about needing to win awards to recruit well?

I just don't see why you need to call out people on the board for things they may or may not have said. You were doing the same thing in the game threads (especially Illinois) trashing all of JJ's supporters.

To quote Zach Shaw, "I'm not sure anyone knew what to expect after the 2020 season, when Jim Harbaugh opted to replace an assistant with >30 years of OL coaching experience with one who had never coached OL before. In 2 seasons, Sherrone Moore has only coached his line to 2 Joe Moore Awards. Elite."

No one mentions true Fr. Gentry. He was a five star three years ago but did his 2yrs service for his church. He needs time in the weight room. Not sure if he redshirted this year.

LFG!  Michigan has reset the narrative about excellence and winning. True ballers want to play in A2.

Harbaugh needs to deliver a win in the semis and then it’s all house money.
