Had a nice weekend with kids and girlfriend. Didn't see any of this until yesterday morning. Was busy most of the day so didn't spend much time thinking about it. Today back to work and after spending too much time catching up on the coverage, videos, press conferences, Twitter nonsense and various MSU affiliates justify their player's actions why do I not feel better about this win?

I know I'm a total sap for thinking at some point common decency and humanity will some day be the norm but that day is not today.

I think you can also applaud #3  (I assume this is RS SR, captain, and starting safety Xavier Henderson) who seems to be trying to get all of the MSU players into the locker room to prevent additional "scuffles".

Other notes:

LT Horst -he of the personal foul on the first Spartan drive (hat +2)- waited to be one of the last to enter the locker room.  I am sure this was just looking out for his guys and not to start more trouble...

Who are the MSU staffers in the video?  A few seemed to be interested in calming the situation and dealing with security people but the majority were "woofing" more than the MSU players and stayed out in the tunnel long after the players had exited.  (Strong parallel to the MSU fan base now that I think of it..)

Alot of MSU staff barking in the tunnel after the team had been ushered into the locker room. I'm hoping it's cause they are unaware of what took place as they were late after it had been broken up and are simply responding to the UM players who are upset after hearing what happened. I hope anyway.

Would not shock me if RCMB spins this as "traitor" behavior by Harmon.

Realistically, the fact that MSU fans can't see humanity past a football rivalry should be astounding but sadly I've seen too much insanity from RCMB and other MSU twitter zealots.

Good on Harmon for doing so though.

Yes, it is overstated, mostly because a lot of it's obstructed until Windmon jumps in and the helmet starts swinging.  I'm of the opinion that with police and lawyers involved we'll get a decent idea of what actually happened.  I think it shows Green walking up the tunnel, then maybe a shove by someone by MSU, then a shove back by Green, then they start wailing on Green in a group.

I acknowledge this could be my bias but the only thing I see here is additional players that need to be suspended for MSU.

I feel fairly certain there are additional angles of this incident. It seems highly unlikely Green started it considering the following:

1) MSU's AD, President, and Horseshit football coach would not have reacted the way they have if there was any evidence they were not at fault.

2) Harbaugh used pretty definitive and damning language.

3) I doubt the Greens would be pursuing legal action if Gemon started it and there was evidence of it.

Still trying to figure out if this is before or after the video showing the group kicking and throwing a player through the door.  It looks like this is the beginning of it all.  Maybe later even in this video, but offscreen is where the kicking and throwing down happen.  What absolute goons.

If you go back and watch the Charboneau video (first video to emerge), you can see Windmon and Crump in the background, just as Crump is being pulled up the tunnel by teammates.  It helps sync the two videos.  Also watch for the Michigan staffer in the white hat that eventually gets to McBurrows.  You can see him usher him into the locker room in the ESPN video.

Good call - at :02 you can see Crump being pulled away and up the tunnel.

One other note - the Michigan staffer in the Yellow hat which the McBurrows beating happens right in front of, looks a lot like Tom Wywrot, longtime Michigan basketball SID.  Can't really blame him for not wanting to jump in more strongly with these guys with pads and helmets on but he has zero emotion when the camera pans to him at the end.

Come on guys it’s 2022 the tunnel has its own security cameras in them and I guarantee Harbaugh has seen those. We won’t see that for awhile with an ongoing investigation

Heck my new cameras at my elementary school allow us zero in on faces and you can see them clear as day.

I think i still saw a white helmet swing above heads after #41 grabbed #14. Can't see if it was to hit someone but definately more helmet swinging is seen after #14 is pulled aside.

I can't decide whether to correct the OP that it's Khary Crump or continue to let everyone incorrectly state his name as a roundabout way of further disrespecting the helmet swinger.

One thing that resonates with me is if you watch long enough, you see German Green go into the locker room about 1:42 and come charging back out about 1:45.  I assume in the interim he found out what happened to Gemon.  He is restrained by teammates and staffers, because that's what responsible people do.

Hard to tell exactly what happened, but it seems pretty clear that two Michigan players are walking on the edge of the right side of the tunnel closest to their locker room trying to get to it and get messed with by MSU players.

Looks to me like the Michigan player get hit, dodges another punch, and then pushes forward when he keeps getting hit, at about the same time MSU 14 starts swinging his helmet. Then one of the Michigan players gets dragged away to get kicked while the other gets hit by the helmet.

Watching their Dir of Football Operations run into their locker room like a little child while his players are bludgeoning ours. Not so tough anymore…I think he saw the people filming and nope’d out.

Also, where did the cop pick up the helmet? Assuming it’s Green’s or McBurrows’. He seems genuinely fascinated with it.

WOW! This is real bad. This must be some of the other videos that Harbaugh referenced in his press conference, although he mentioned in-house ones, not from ESPN. I see why he's so angry. This is sickening.
