Indiana and Ohio State suck. This game is terrible.
February 10th, 2019 at 2:10 PM ^
February 10th, 2019 at 2:39 PM ^
But don’t you love it when you can watch 2 teams that you hate as much as the other an they both suck and you really don’t care who wins...god I love Michigan Basketball!
February 10th, 2019 at 3:51 PM ^
I am pretty much always want OSU to lose at any sport against any opponent expect maybe MSU.
February 10th, 2019 at 3:01 PM ^
And it’s about to go into extra innings.
February 10th, 2019 at 2:41 PM ^
Who do we want to win Tuesday night? MD over Purdue and Wisconsin over Staee. GO BLUE ?
February 10th, 2019 at 4:48 PM ^
I would concur
February 10th, 2019 at 7:12 PM ^
And we beat pedo state
February 10th, 2019 at 2:43 PM ^
Purdue’s path is so easy. How could they NOT win the B1G?
February 10th, 2019 at 2:49 PM ^
because purdue really isn't that good. i bet they drop a couple games down the stretch that surprise people, but not me.
February 10th, 2019 at 2:53 PM ^
Hope you are correct umchicago. Purdue has 5 of their remaining 8 games on the road.
February 10th, 2019 at 3:00 PM ^
yep. all against the midling BIG teams. don't be surprised if they drop 3 of those. they should have lost at penn st but the refs bailed them out in the final seconds of regulation. they won in OT.
February 10th, 2019 at 4:08 PM ^
Purdue isn't that good?
*Look at KenPom*
*See Purdue is 9th in KenPom*
Ok
February 11th, 2019 at 11:39 AM ^
If you don't Purdue is good, who do you think is good in the big ten outside of UM or MSU?
Wisconsin? Maryland? Iowa? They beat all those teams and Wisconsin was on the road. Right now I put them as the second best team in the big ten, based on how did they recently vs MSU.
February 10th, 2019 at 2:49 PM ^
@ MD & @ Minnesota only 2 tough games left
February 10th, 2019 at 2:49 PM ^
@ MD & @ Minnesota only 2 tough games left
February 10th, 2019 at 3:34 PM ^
Yes. Purdue could sneak out the Big 10 title if they win out (very possible). I think MSU loses this week in Madison, and Michigan splits with MSU (home and home)...
Of course I'd love if it Michigan sweeps and wins the Big 10! Purdue is the darkhorse at the moment.
February 10th, 2019 at 5:43 PM ^
Unfortunately, with remaining schedule... Purdue is the favorite. Not the dark horse.
February 10th, 2019 at 8:49 PM ^
Fwiw Torvik projects M and Purdue to finish 16-4 in the B10. That sounds about right to me.
February 10th, 2019 at 11:37 PM ^
Yeah, good chance they drop two of those five road games. Something, something, road games in the B1G, something, something...is a thing.
February 10th, 2019 at 2:43 PM ^
If you love low-level, horribly played basketball, this OSU/Indiana game is for you.
February 10th, 2019 at 2:49 PM ^
Langford finding a stroke late in the season...just like that it's tied! 9-0 run. And yea after some decent basketball for 2 minutes it's back to a slop fest. Bad shots, bad passes, etc.
Also, these Indiana jerseys are pretty slick I have/hate to admit.
February 10th, 2019 at 2:51 PM ^
I want MSU to loose. It would be nice to play them when we have already clinched the Big Ten
February 10th, 2019 at 2:55 PM ^
I’d rather MSU play tight than loose; more apt to lose that way.
February 10th, 2019 at 3:04 PM ^
Being loose in the loos would be Lou’s way to lose.
February 10th, 2019 at 4:26 PM ^
Are you Dr. Seuss?
February 10th, 2019 at 3:26 PM ^
Man, you are just asking for it.
February 10th, 2019 at 3:35 PM ^
And you have nothing better to do than post in this thread, loser.
February 10th, 2019 at 4:19 PM ^
Football season has been depressing for over 10 years. Save the miracle 2011 season in which Brady Hoke used up all the luck Michigan might get for the next 50 years. Basketball has been way more fun and the difference between the coaching staffs is as big as the Grand Cayon.
February 10th, 2019 at 4:57 PM ^
Basketball, if played at a high level and with heart (see Michigan basketball pretty much since Beilein arrived), is the opposite of boring. The game is exciting, fast paced, has tons of exciting moments and puts some awesome athleticism on display.
I added the “with heart” part because at times, many NBA do not display this and just seem to dial it in (see the NY Knicks for the past 15 years). That results, to me, in basketball actually being boring.
February 10th, 2019 at 10:36 PM ^
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
February 11th, 2019 at 8:34 AM ^
Have fun being miserable
February 10th, 2019 at 3:33 PM ^
I can see us losing at least 2 more. So I am cheering for Purdue to lose 2 more.
February 10th, 2019 at 4:28 PM ^
Yes, if we only lose 2 more, that will be good.
February 10th, 2019 at 3:54 PM ^
Don’t get me wrong I would love a regular season B1G title. But if I could pick between the regular season and B1G tourney championship, I would go with the second option. There is just something special about that four day stretch...
February 10th, 2019 at 4:55 PM ^
I’m greedy. I want both. This team is capable of achieving both. Go Blue !
February 10th, 2019 at 4:55 PM ^
They’re both very nice and is a huge reason basketball is more fun than football. There are just a lot more ways to have a successful season in basketball.
Don’t win the regular season? No problem, you’ve got the BTT which can be a mini season and could be a ticket to the Dance.
Make it in the Dance and have a run to the second weekend, that’s also a good season.
tldr; more games, more opportunities, more potential.
February 10th, 2019 at 11:42 PM ^
Only making the second weekend this season wouldn't be good. It wouldn't be a bad season, a first weekend loss would be bad, but this is a team for which anything short of a final four would be a bummer.
February 10th, 2019 at 6:51 PM ^
Wolverines to win out
Maybe I would have preferred IU to win but they did not
I suppose we want Iowa to win but then if Michigan keeps winning who cares and maybe we beat Iowa in the either the Big 10 or NCAA tournies to even things up.
WIN THE GAME
February 10th, 2019 at 7:10 PM ^
We may want Northwestern since we played and beat them twice and if they move up the ranks enough they become either quad 1 or quad 2 victories.
It sucked how it happened but it’s tough to win any Big Ten game let along a road one so it’s understandable what happened in Iowa City.
February 10th, 2019 at 11:45 PM ^
Yes, almost always want teams we played twice to beat teams we played once and in the case of NW/Iowa we definitely did want NW to win. At Iowa will be a Q1 game no matter what. That loss is acceptable. But NW is right on the cusp of being top 70 so that game at NW could also be a Q1 win if they finish well.
Plus for our SoS, it'll always be better for teams we play twice to beat teams we play once.
February 10th, 2019 at 8:27 PM ^
Who is going to guard Zion? Mathews spelled by Iggy? Switch offs to Teske.
February 10th, 2019 at 11:56 PM ^
Livers is really the best suited to guarding Zion. But Iggy would probably guard him while he's playing the four. Matthews would guard RJ Barrett. Teske would guard Bolden/DeLaurier.
Michigan does match up pretty well with Duke, if that's possible.
February 10th, 2019 at 8:44 PM ^
Bohannon scores 13 pts in the last 98 seconds, including 3 pointer with less than a second left for Iowa win. Wow
February 10th, 2019 at 8:46 PM ^
And then northwestern gets a wide open 3 with 0.6 on the clock and misses
February 10th, 2019 at 9:10 PM ^
The Cardiac Cats strike again.
February 10th, 2019 at 9:16 PM ^
The zebras were very friendly to Iowa, but even with that, NU had a sizable lead late in the game. Then Iowa went to a full court press and created turnover after turnover (as well hitting a series of threes).
February 11th, 2019 at 10:44 AM ^
It's absolutely crucial for Purdue to lose tomorrow at Maryland. It's by far their hardest game left and I doubt Michigan wins out so we need a minimum of 1 Purdue lost. Remember, we win the tiebreaker if we finish with the same record.
