If you don't Purdue is good, who do you think is good in the big ten outside of UM or MSU?

Wisconsin?  Maryland?  Iowa?  They beat all those teams and Wisconsin was on the road.  Right now I put them as the second best team in the big ten, based on how did they recently vs MSU.

Langford finding a stroke late in the season...just like that it's tied!  9-0 run.  And yea after some decent basketball for 2 minutes it's back to a slop fest.  Bad shots, bad passes, etc.

Also, these Indiana jerseys are pretty slick I have/hate to admit.

Football season has been depressing for over 10 years. Save the miracle 2011 season in which Brady Hoke used up all the luck Michigan might get for the next 50 years. Basketball has been way more fun and the difference between the coaching staffs is as big as the Grand Cayon.

Basketball, if played at a high level and with heart (see Michigan basketball pretty much since Beilein arrived), is the opposite of boring. The game is exciting, fast paced, has tons of exciting moments and puts some awesome athleticism on display.

I added the “with heart” part because at times, many NBA do not display this and just seem to dial it in (see the NY Knicks for the past 15 years). That results, to me, in basketball actually being boring.

Don’t get me wrong I would love a regular season B1G title. But if I could pick between the regular season and B1G tourney championship, I would go with the second option. There is just something special about that four day stretch...

They’re both very nice and is a huge reason basketball is more fun than football. There are just a lot more ways to have a successful season in basketball.

Don’t win the regular season? No problem, you’ve got the BTT which can be a mini season and could be a ticket to the Dance.

Make it in the Dance and have a run to the second weekend, that’s also a good season.

tldr; more games, more opportunities, more potential.

Wolverines to win out

Maybe I would have preferred IU to win but they did not

I suppose we want Iowa to win but then if Michigan keeps winning who cares and maybe we beat  Iowa in the either the Big 10 or NCAA tournies to even things up.

WIN THE GAME

We may want Northwestern since we played and beat them twice and if they move up the ranks enough they become either quad 1 or quad 2 victories.

It sucked how it happened but it’s tough to win any Big Ten game let along a road one so it’s understandable what happened in Iowa City.

Yes, almost always want teams we played twice to beat teams we played once and in the case of NW/Iowa we definitely did want NW to win.  At Iowa will be a Q1 game no matter what.  That loss is acceptable.  But NW is right on the cusp of being top 70 so that game at NW could also be a Q1 win if they finish well.

Plus for our SoS, it'll always be better for teams we play twice to beat teams we play once.

It's absolutely crucial for Purdue to lose tomorrow at Maryland. It's by far their hardest game left and I doubt Michigan wins out so we need a minimum of 1 Purdue lost. Remember, we win the tiebreaker if we finish with the same record.
