Todays world is full of satirical linguists with zero talent.  Howard Stern is a proud, proud father.  If you ever decide to sell yer soul to the click bait machine.......

He's a lazy writer trying to get attention.  I'd also add that he had Duke ranked #2 last week, and for whatever convoluted rationale he had in his head for it this week, it's rather clear his goal is to get people talking about him.  Which is fine, I guess - if you don't have anything insightful to say, there is some value in people collectively recognizing how dumb you are.  But he's a hack, has been a hack for a long time, and even with this utterly meaningless ranking he's still trying to get some modicum of attention in whatever way possible.

A little off topic of the thread but just watched replay of Tenn. and Gonzaga. Michigan would handle both of those two. Especially when they are shooting good. They could really handle Gonzaga. They have no answer for Z or Mathews. Not to mention Ziggy. Makes me wonder about Duke. UNC will expose them I'm sure. All in good time my good men. All in good time.

If he didn't put teams in the top 25 because the the FBI exposing their extra benefits/recruiting violations it'd be pretty ballsy, or if this was football and it was bama's schedule he was protesting, but this it is really dumb to protest SOS in basketball where it is taken into consideration in the tournament seeding.

I could get behind his message penalizing teams for playing all of their games at home, but I can also get behind my personal message that road games are not always a fair indicator of the best team when you're usually playing 5 against 8 with referees making every marginal call, and most fantasy calls, in favor of the home team.  Home cooked refereeing ruins the sport for me, especially when the home team is down big, at which point the referees usually take 50/50 bias and slant it 80/20 until the score gets a little more reputable.

Yes, this post was - as most things on the internets - mostly disproportionate outrage towards an ultimately irrelevant clickhunting hack.  But it did give us this fun juxtapositionSSHOT.png
