Cris Carter claims “to have sources that say Harbaugh is looking for a way out of Michigan”

On First Things First this morning, the former Buckeye states that Harbaugh is looking at the Packers and Browns HC position to try to find an exit strategy from Ann Arbor.

Mighty funny how he drops this the bit of news the day after Urban leaves town. Haven’t heard a peep of this anywhere else. Looks like people in Columbus are realizing we have the best coach in the division now and want him gone ASAP!

I "know" Harbaugh is settled in AA, making him leaving highly unlikely, but until those jobs get filled, I am still going to be a little nervous about the situation

The thing I love most about Harbaugh is that he is a competitor.  It is hard for me to believe that he will leave without at least winning a B1G Championship.  I am sure he is pissed that he did not get a W against Urban Meyer, but he has to be thinking with Urban leaving, The Game becomes more winnable.  It isn't happening, but if he were to leave now then he isn't the coach I expected him to be.  I am confident though that he is the coach we all expected him to be when he got here, and he will prove it as our coach for many years to come.

It's a recruiting ploy by an OSU media personality. Keeps the recruits second guessing about committing to UofM.

Ryan Day is no Urban Meyer (on the field that is). He needs all the help he can get. That includes this dingleberry carter clown spouting off hot takes on national tv. There are a few others on the tele that are the same way, #stiritup

The last I heard was that Jerry was going to back up the brinks truck to get Harbaugh as HC for the Cowboys but it looks like that has fallen apart with Dallas winning games now. I have not heard of any other rumors.

The old line that Harbaugh is going to the NFL is getting pretty old now. It probably worked in the first few years but most recruits probably realize that Harbaugh will be at Michigan for a while. He may try the NFL after he wins us a National Championship. He's building a top notch program and I don't think he'll leave until he wins the B1G/NC and hand picks a successor. If he hires an excellent OC after the bowl game, that may one day be his successor down the road.

a national championship? did you pay any attention to the record of the guy that just left osu? 7 wins against michigan, an unreal big ten and overall record, and came away with "one" nc. people talk about championships and super bowls like you just reach out and grab one.

you don't leave a program like michigan to chase a super bowl in the nfl, when almost nobody even makes it to a super bowl, let alone win one.

Looking for a way?

He doesn’t have to look very hard.  All his agent has to do is tell NFL owners “he wants to go back to the league” and he’ll get overloaded with offers.

He is such a homer.  Why doesn't he use his insider knowledge to find out what's on Urban's cell phone and why he met with Grimes mom.  I don't trust a thing he says.  He is totally biased and I highly doubt JH would leave now right when he got the program so close to where he wanted it with his rival finally showing signs of weakness.  If JH ever leaves it won't be before he beats OSU.

All the Buckeyes must have got the memo, 97.1 in Columbus just discussed how Harbaugh wants to get back to the NFL and it is just a matter of time.
