Cris Carter claims “to have sources that say Harbaugh is looking for a way out of Michigan”

On First Things First this morning, the former Buckeye states that Harbaugh is looking at the Packers and Browns HC position to try to find an exit strategy from Ann Arbor.

Mighty funny how he drops this the bit of news the day after Urban leaves town. Haven’t heard a peep of this anywhere else. Looks like people in Columbus are realizing we have the best coach in the division now and want him gone ASAP!

No.  It’s Fabricating 423; it’s a required senior level journalism course @tOSU.   Their final weedout class before the bunny senior elective classes.  He set the curves in this class just like his predecessor Kirk Herbstreet.

I’m not saying harbaugh is leaving but that is pretty much what every fan says right before their coach leaves. These guys move their families constantly for their careers, it’s part of the job description and moving your family is never going to be the reason a coach doesn’t leave.

i honestly believe getting housed by osu shook him a little bit which is the only reason I would give this a 1 percent chance

It's funny that people on a message board know EXACTLY what Harbaugh thinks and wants, but a guy in the media has no clue...

Chancre: a painless genital ulcer most commonly formed during the primary stage of syphilis. Chancres transmit the sexually transmissible disease of syphilis through direct physical contact. These ulcers usually form on or around the anus, mouth, penis and vagina.

Good one......good one, you almost had me there, until you said "Browns HC". Bwahahaha

Escape what?  Leave your alma mater, who you've ended three of your four seasons ranked, twice in the top 10, for a team that has averaged one winning record per decade in the past 20 years?  Oh yeah, and if he was looking for an 'outlet' or 'escape', would that be because of pressure from the fan base?  Yeah, that would be less in Cleveland.  There's no doubt they've got talent.... they also have a great track record of squandering their talent.

Are you hitting lines with Chris Carter?

It’s this simple, Harbaugh and Michigan have a good season, “Harbaugh is headed back to the NFL now!”

Harbaugh and Michigan have a “meh” season, “He’s overrated!” And crickets on the NFL stuff.

Could he leave?  Sure. Will he?  I kinda doubt it at this juncture.

Seems CC is trying to help quell the losses in recruiting by helping osu negative recruit. And he may have a source, but not the right Harbaugh...Both would be good landing spots for John.

Buckeye renewed recruiting strategy since Meyer "retired".  I mention this yesterday on the another thread. Took one day to start Harbaugh to NFL rumors. If you don't think there hasn't been a huge shift in the B1G in the last 24 hours, you are mistaken. Like it or not, and it is painful to write this, Meyer is one of the all time great college coaches. Short of Nick Saban, anyone you hire will be less than Meyer. Within three years, Buckeye message boards will look like Michigan's after an OSU loss. OSU is still loaded and will be very good next year. Any competent coach will win 10 games with that roster next year.

I find it comical that Day "wins" three games without Meyer and people think there will be not much fall off, that OSU will just reload year after year.  Go tell that to USC, go tell that to the fans of Bama from 1997 to 2006.  Yeah, even us Michigan  fans from 1983 to 2000 would have never thought The Game would look like this for the last 18 years.

Yeah, Day may end up being a very good coach.  It is still highly unlikely he is one of the greatest of all time like Meyer. It is almost impossible for there not to be some sort of drop off. It might not be a huge drop, but the differences between the teams at the top is not that large, and even a small drop can make a big difference.
