Apparently the coaches, who were right about Higdon when people were in favor of Evans, and were right about JBB/Runyan when we wanted Mayfield and Hudson, see something worthwhile in putting Evans out there. He's still a good RB. Hasn't gotten a lot of the space to exploit where he's at his best, but that's kind of how our offense is this year. Remember, like in the Orange Bowl, it only takes one key play for him to break something open.

I think this is the best team Michigan has had since 2006. I think Harbaugh has his team, has found an identity, and the running into the line was just to beat the pulp out of Penn State. I would have loved a blow out sooner, but no one can say this was not dominating. This team is so fun to watch and the Don Brown defense is the best I’ve ever watched. End of extremely happy rant!

TRAP GAMES COMING

@Rutgers and v. Indiana look like minor games before The Game, but I bet one or both of them is scary for a while.

Look back at 2006, Ball State scared us and in 2016 we went to Iowa and lost and Indiana gave us all we could handle.

Not like we as fans need to be focused.  Just something to prepare for emotionally.

I’m glad it’s Senior Day and after, not before, the Rutgers game.

I’m not saying Michigan would lose at Indiana if they were to play next week, but it might be uncomfortably close.  As it stands, I don’t for a moment think that Chase, Karan, and the myriad of other seniors and early-entry candidates will crap the bed in their last game at the Big House.

People downvoting...this season is different because you want it to be different, right? Someone said Urban isn't even gonna be on the sideline vs. UM because they lost to Purdue and the whole program is going to shit. Come back to earth.

Just humble yourself down for once.

If you don’t want to get downvoted, I recommend not suggesting that a game at Rutger is a trap game.  If you’d stuck to the Indiana game, you probably would have been safe.  I still disagree, as I already stated, but it’s your Rutger take that’s buying your troubles.

Why do you assume the team doesn’t see Indiana and Rutgers as part of the revenge tour?  Last year Indiana took us to OT, which I’m sure pisses off the team. Rutgers is our biggest (New Jersey) rival and that’s big because a lot of the team is playing in front of their families and friends. No way they want to look bad in front of them. Therefore, neither are trap games because they ARE part of the revenge tour.

I do wish we saw more from the passing game, but seriously, who am I to complain about a 42-7 win? I’m splitting hairs, really.

Harbaugh is a great coach. Don Brown is a fucking genius.

Agreed.  On the call, Herbie tried to put that on Shea for being impatient.  I think it was actually Higdon who was impatient.  He saw the ball up high an panicked a little.  If he had not jumped at all, or at least timed his jump better, that play hits.

Tarik Black gives you more opportunities for downfield throws. I hope they open this part of the playbook more.

Thrilled beyond measure. Dominance on both sides of the ball is beginning to resemble Michigan of 20 years ago.

Concerned a bit about Nordin's psyche and hope he's locked in when we really need him.

Just looked up our record under Harbaugh.  This year's eight-game win streak is his best since winning the first nine of 2016, and to that you can add the 2015 bowl game for ten in a row.  We should be able to equal/break those marks the next two weeks, and of course winning The Game would make for 11 straight if it happens.

By the way, if you're curious, his best streak at Stanford was the last eight games of the 2010 season (his final at the school), the one where they went 12-1 with their only loss to the Oregon team that went to the BCS title game.

So yeah, I'd say year four is going just fine for Jim.

The pick six was great because it was Franklin trying to be cute and have his running freshman quarterback throw the ball. I know he wasn’t getting much from Mcsorley but that was just set up for failure

I honestly don't think that was such a bad call. He's getting killed with his starter, his starter is also getting killed by the Michigan pass rush, so why not try the backup who will probably be his starter next year?

Stevens ended up completing his other 3 passes. He wasn't going to lead a comeback even without the pick six, but McSorely wasn't either.

We have elite coaching across the board.  Loved the Don Brown experience today.  Our throw game doesnt look elite at this point, but it should as the skill play catches up to the opportunities they're presented with.

This team is awesome, I love Harbaugh

I'm not a coach and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn but I hope the real coaches rest Gary and Solomon the next couple weeks. I'd also limit Higdon to 5-7 carries a game before OSU.

That’s a recipe for going into the OSU game rusty, even if they do win both games.

Also, you let Higdon get his 100 yards.  (Admittedly, he might do that against Rutgers in 5-7 carries.  Or 2).

They’ll get some rest, but they’ll also get enough game reps to stay sharp.

Warriner is a life saver and Don Brown is a king! Pay this man more he has earned it. As for Harbaugh we knew what he was but many were frustrated. Let’s put our frustrations to rest and take it out on osu GO BLUE!!
