This will be your thread for snowflakes and hot takes about the defense and defensive playcalling.

Maybe Uche is really, really good in his own right and the rest of the team stepped up some when they lost Gary. Or the defense is just playing at a higher level because they're improving as they play. And it's a coincidence that Gary happens to be out while it's happening.

It was like Michigan had 15 guys on the field on defense the entire game.

We wondered what this defense would look like when their safeties weren’t getting beat like last year. Well the last 2 weeks are it. With the way the safeties and LBs and taking care of the center of the field, there’s nowhere to go.

Pretty amazing domination. I don't think they had a drive of 25 yards if you back out penalty yards from a few drives. Rutgers level domination in the passing game. Very impressive accomplishment.

Bush made a statement before the game tearing up the Sparty logo, but he sure as hell backed it up with his play in the field.

That’s what playmakers do. That’s what great football players do. Seemed like for years Michigan was all talk and no walk. Today, that defense was ALL walk.

Stay aggressive, but don’t get lazy with cheap shots—especially at the end.

Uche is a beast. The players were right. This is the best line we’ve had, perhaps ever, in terms of to a man depth. Even without Gary, Mattison’s coaching and the recruiting—it’s great to be a Wolverine.

Feels goooood to completely dismantle that stupid team. Need to watch penalties though. MSU always baits us into a million of them and we probably gave them more penalty yards than yards of offense.

I'm OK with that.  Because frankly I'm tired of the high road against these scumsucking shitheads.  Their school covered up rape for 20 years and Dantonio looks the other way every time one of his players does anything felonious and they tried to literally kill Denard by ripping his spinal cord apart and I'm sick of apologizing for behavior that isn't even worth the batting of an eye, like shoving a stake into the turf.  Kick up the logo and call them little brother because they deserve it and it makes them mad.

The whole D was incredible, but special shout outs to:

-Winovich

-Uche

-Defensive backs, all of them

That was a clinic.

What makes it especially impressive is that it's a road game in hostile territory.

All-time great defensive performance. This team is looking special. Wow!

Don Brown and his Dudes were outstanding (even without Gary). Lewerke was rattled and their rushing game was throttled. Great to see Bush & Dwumfour with the late sacks to slam shut the door.

Game ball to the whole defense.

Just now Chase Winovich was asked if he was surprised they held MSU to only 94 yards.  Chase responded "I am surprised that they got that many yards, they aren't on our level."  He also said MSU got away with lots of dirty plays against the defense that the refs couldn't see.

Someone at the Ronald McDonald House in Detroit might be getting fired.

They've deleted it and say "Sorry for our previous error! Definatly and accidental post - we're looking into it and we're actually a team led wolverines over here!".
