2020 Linebacker Cornell Wheeler committed to Michigan via his twitter today. He's a 3 star linebacker from West Bloomfield.

The real irony is you got banned for being a cunt and here you are again, acting the cunt. I wonder how it’s gonna end....

also John Beilein is the best thing to happen to Michigan basketball and you could not have been more wrong about him, his recruiting, or his coaching.

you dumb cunt.

2020 is a loooong ways off to get very excited about crystal balls being submitted for in-state kids. Michigan should be a force to be reckoned with in 2019 and this will play HEAVILY on these kids.

Otherwise, Wheeler is a very solid kid to have as part of this class. By the time he arrives on campus he will be bigger, stronger and faster. He is an awfully tough, football-playing kid for 16 years old!!! Got to have some of these blue-collar kids on your roster.

Interesting that Partridge is his recruiter. Probably means they've been after him for a while since he's no longer the LB's position's coach, and Partridge doesn't usually focus on Michigan recruits that I'm aware of.

Michigan employs regional recruiting and has several coaches working different parts of Michigan. I believe Greg Mattison has the West Side of the state, Pep Hamilton is the primary guy at Belleville, Sherrone Moore and Partridge recruit Detroit.

This would have been a perfect name for a '90s era Keith Jackson to say. "A big hit by #44, Mr. Cor-nell Wheeler!"

After listening to Tim Brando this weekend, I miss Keith more than ever.

Similar measurables to James Ross. Not sure if they have a similar game.

Allen Trieu said that WBHS plays the same defense as Don Brown so he should be familiar with the scheme when he gets on campus.

So obsessed with points!  How about some credit to the staff for eyeballing talent??  E.g. some 3 stars (247 rankings) that are making quite an impact:  Khaleke Hudson, Nick Eubanks, Josh Metellue, Sean McKeon, Kwitty Paye, BEN MASON ...

Fun fact: Of all of the teams in the country, Michigan's -6 win differential against Cornell is the largest number of games below .500 against any one opponent Michigan has in its history.

So I am glad to see us get a win relative to a Cornell.
