Commitment Watch: According to Dymonte Thomas [Edit: No commitment from Green]
According to Dymonte Thomas on Twitter
He is about to commit! :)
He doesn't specify who, but with all the talk that has been going around Derrick Green, I feel like it has to be him.
Note: I thought this big enough to warrent it's own thread, but if the mods disagree feel free to take it down
Edit: From Sarah Hughes
My text to recruit @ the BBQ: "Is it about to go down?" His reply: "DG? Definitely." #team134
MOAR EDITS:
According to tremendous
Tremendous I've been told that there's a better chance of him committing than not committing today. Him obviously being Derrick Green.
and
60% is the # [%] was given. Take it FWIW
Then according to Mark from Tremendous
60=100
Take it as you want, but its a good sign.\
One more for good measure, from a 'major site'
Another "idk yet" from Derrick Green when asked if he will commit to#Michigan before he leaves. That often means yes but we'll see.
Last edit (@BrOoKyLn_boii27 is Derrick Green's twitter):
From @BrOoKyLn_boii27: "I didn't commit
...We may need her.
K, we're ready
titties :)
Bully! That's a certified fully!
Copious is the first word that came to mind.
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I've been told by multiple commitments that there's a better chance of him committing today than not committing. FWIW
This would be prime news heading back into work after a week of vacation.
DG = Demi-God?
I read somewhere that Derrick Green at one point weighed 270 lbs. Anyone know more about his background? Guess we'll find out more about him in his impending Hello post.
270 seems a little bit crazy for a guy who's only 6'0 215-220 now.
..If he commits and an article happens to get published on maize n brew about said commitment, hypothetical article would include links to other article that talks about how he was 270 coming into his freshman year, didn't want to play on the line, so he slimmed down, worked harder than any incoming HS freshman I've ever met, and got himself to a cut 230

I believe he was an OL at one point, but then lost the weight and switched to RB because he didn't want to get recruited as a lineman for either offense or defense. That's what I remember reading anyway.
Green was a 5'8" 270 pound offensive lineman, until he got serious and cut all that weight and started training with an actually trainer. He cut a lot of weight, got a lot stronger, and a lot faster.
Mo Hurst Jr is a 6'2" 275-290 lb DT/RB, if you want to see what it looks like...
That MAN is in high school... Wow
How do we know this type of stuff didn't happen when he was at Auburn? If he leaves here without committing then I'm just going to assume it will never happen. Twitter is a dangerous thing.
I've seen his tweets too, I just want to avoid getting excited. We thought Treadwell was on the verge of committing, but now he is just letting it play out and taking more visits. So who knows, kids these days loooove attention, and he knows he is the belle of the ball right now.
But, dude, Mike Farrell hates Michigan and would never give us any positive information. When Shane Morris committed to Michigan, Farrell tweeted "Haha Shane Morris sucks. Be ready for four years of shitty quarterback play, Wolverine fans #smh."
True story.
Hint: "True story." means everything, or at lest most of what, he just said was false.
Magnus was obviously joking, but if we can't use "true story" to distinguish between what's really a true story and what isn't, what do we have left?
Magnus, you're ruining life for everyone.
Seriously!
Magnus is a closet sparty. True story.
I'm the reason Kate Upton is a Michigan fan....true story.
mean that there will be a new Pope?
Of course
I heard Ohio didn't want him. In that case, I don't want him either. I only want to get recruits that Ohio wants.

Really excited about this commit. I definitely think there are some things that Green can work on (balance, hands/receiving), but the kid is pretty much everything that Hoke wants in a power back. Hoke is going to be extremely happy with Green, Smith, and Shallman. That is MANBALL right there.
Definitely jumped the gun.
I wouldn't be surprised if he committed some time soon though.
