My mom bought my kids Marley and Me. My 8yr old daughter, who balls at the ASPCA commercials, loves it and wants to watch it every night. I try to not let her put it on, because I will be crying more than her.

On the app there is someone asking him about transfers (I assume to OLSM). I don't know why those only show up on the app, it looks pretty funny on the computer though. He appears to be having a conversation with his imaginary friend.

To go the Michigania, you have to be a member of the Alumni Association, and the week-long stays are something like $6,000 for a family.

I was going to suggest Bellaire. Hang out on Torch Lake sandbar all day and then head to Short's at night. No better Michigan summer day than that.

Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Christy, take off your robe. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. Sabrina, remove your dress. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Sabrina, why don't you, uh, dance a little. Take the lyrics to Land of Confusion. In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock. Christy, get down on your knees so Sabrina can see your asshole. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds. Sabrina, don't just stare at it, eat it. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite.|

I was driving on a State Highway that cuts across Saginaw County, and has pretty heavy traffic moving between 50-65 mph. I had my normal springtiime bout of bronchitis, and as I was driving my goverment issued vehicle, I experinced a coughing fit, which caused me to blackout (which I didn't realize until later). I apparently drive across the road to the left, through on-coming traffic, off the road, past one tree and then a fire hydrant on the other side, then between 2 rather large pines (the opening was maybe 1 foot wider than my vehicle), into the ditch, up and over 2 driveways and back into the ditch, and started coming to and pressed the brake and I was beginning to go up the backside of the ~6 ft deep ditch that would have rolled the car. I stopped and regained awareness of where I was about 2 ft from a gas transmission standpipe and with my car at about a 45 degree angle on the backslope of the ditch. A couple of cars that were behind me stopped and came running over, thinking I had a heart attack or something else sever.
Being a government employee, in a government vehicle, I had to go have drug and alcohol test and a physical before returning to work. The worst part of the whole ordeal was about 4 months later, the Secretary of State sends me a letter stating my license is suspended to 6 months because I lost consciousness while driving. It took a lot of phone calls and arguing with bureaucrats to convince them that I blacked out from coughing due to bronchitis (that's what my doctor told me), and seeing as the bronchitis was gone, I wasn't a threat to lose consciousness again.
Oh, and the car, which was all of 3 months old at the time, took 6 weeks to repair in the shop (over $15,000 in damage). I'm friends with the guy who took my old job, and drives the car now, and to this day it makes weird noises and doesn't drive right.

I had him in undergrad, think it was Aero 535, which was propulsion. He was an engaging teacher, but my most pronounced memory of him was that he always talked about his car (some kind of Lexus I believe) and that he was REALLY into electric thrusters (in fact I believe he headed up a research lab in AA that was internationally renowned for their work in electric/plasma thrusters).

I can't believe I am in some fashion defending the FREEP, but you do realize that the "column" in question is from the Chicago Tribune, hence the NW pandering and M bashing (Swenson from IL, possibly going to NW). The FREEP just posted it on their website as "Columnist says:".

The subject of the post is not the Drew Sharp article per-se, but that it appears to be copied directly form another source. the only reason there is a link is so people can make their own judgement, as well as see the timestamps on the 2 posts.
The MGoBoard FAQ states:
which is about posting links Sharp is clickbaiting in. The OP doesn't even discuss what the articles are about, again the links are only provided as evidence. This is not about promoting Drew Sharp's point of view, it is about exposing the possible plagarism he perpetrated, which is with the spirit of getting rid of him.
Also, it is not like I was trying to hide the fact it was a freep/Drew Sharp link; IT SAYS IT IN THE DAMN LINK TEXT!

This post wasn't about the article in question, just that the exact same article was posted at Detroit Sports Rag and then an hour later on the Freep. I only put the links in for people who want to see the date/time stamp for themsleves. The inks discuss Calvin Johnson's possible retirement.
