Thumbs up or thumbs down for the new beard banner? Is this indirect disrespect for Sparty? The mind wanders.

get that (now bearded) skinny bald weasel away from this blog and banner.

it is a hallowed time of the year.  real, actual players or iconic pictures should be in the banner.  its hate week, we should at least have some fun 'sparty-no' or, braylon-fest, or some timely appropriate picture up.

Yes please. I really, really hate have that... thing on the site at all. Much less for football season, and even less so this week. There are so many iconic moments that could be referenced, players that deserve some recognition, and we get pit bull. Not even the goofy, lovable type of Pit Bull, we get the no talent "musician" version.

Why.

One of the few times I'll agree with this poster... stop trying to be coy, funny, or extremely meme worthy. It comes across as trite, low brow, and dumpster fire worthy.

Photo above WOULD BE A GREAT BANNER!

Such an honor to be graced by the most magnificent beard in all of mankind.  Pitbull has been "Lovied" like a certain team in EL.  I'm sure alcohol and drugs had nothing to do with this.

Pitbull was in an a Dr. Pepper ad that got a lot of play during Michigan games (and presumably other college football games) sometime in the last couple of years. That's basically the source of the joke.

I'd be perfectly happy to never see his face again. A user with Pitbull's face as his avatar suggested replacing Harbaugh with PJ Fleck, which--let's just see how well that idea ages.

Not fond of beards on most people, although some people really do wear it well (looking at you Lovie Smith).

Also I think it's hilarious how the young guys are wearing them in an attempt to butch themselves up.  Unfortunately the beard doesn't hide the skinny jeans or inability to change a flat tire.

Fuck Pitbull, and fuck skanky, crumb- and spittle-festooned Civil War beards.

With the incredible wealth of images available from Michigan sports history, it's bizarre that getting well-designed banners that take advantage of such resources seems so difficult.
