We just bought 2 years of tuition at today's prices for any Michigan Public School for our 10 month old.
They have pay as you go (pay when and how much you want)and monthly installments as well.
Yes, its not great if your kid ends up at a private school or out of state. And you can't use it for room and board. But most 529 plans won't have enough in them to cover it either
Both my wife and I were MET kids, my dad claims he bought 4 years of Michigan tuition for 5k in 1985 for me when I was 7. In 1998-2002, when I went to Michigan, I think Tuition for the 4 years was around 30K in state. Calls it the best investment he ever made.
My wife's parents have a similar story. Although she has still 170K in student loans.
For those with student loans at 6.5%, look into SOFI. We were able to get them into a variable through them at 3%

In the same section he was, 4 rows down from him.
Seemed super nice. 3 were deflections off the media boxes. 2 of them in the same AB.
One of the other two short hopped the walkway area to him.
The last one he caught on the fly. All of these with a glove.
He said he got 35 last year.
He gave all to kids.
All of them were straight to him, even the sparse crowd, he didn't move from his space much.
Crazy, by the end of the game, people were getting their picture taken with him.

He lost some weight in the last 18 years.
Had him for Engin 100 with an Aerospace background. He was our technical advisor who ripped us apart on our project, which was a large portion of the grade.
He thought we made up a large portion of our research, and really it was a joke freshman level. Luckily, group member had the right articles and we were able to show where we got got the info in office hours.
Seemed reasonable, fair guy.

Please delete it.
I go to the Freep first in my daily reading. I couldn't find this article. It' s not on their main page or main sports page.
I thought you were talking about the Windsor article, which isn't too bad. Then I the only reason I found it was your link.
It's also just a reprint of Chicago Tribune column. So if the Freep gets a bunch of hits on this they will continue to do it. It costs them nothing.
|31 weeks 4 days ago||WAR is simplistic||
But its a easy comparison.
You can't just replace 1 player for 2. You have roster limitations. You only have 25.
Long relievers involve a game you are already losing.
|31 weeks 4 days ago||Where are you getting those numbers?||
WAR was 4.4 last year? WAR cost is about 6-7 per on the free market.
Upton has problems. But Illitch has shown time and time again, he doesn't go small. He goes big and sells tickets.
Worst case this contract is done by the time he's 34.
Feelingsball...I think he plays better when in contention.
|31 weeks 4 days ago||Long relief?||
They are good for 1 WAR tops. Long relief is for games you have lost already.
Shane Greene is perfect for that anyway.
Name your platoon with Maybin/Gose? You can't just platoon every position. You do have limited roster
|31 weeks 4 days ago||Right||
But if you expect him to suck in his two peak years? Then who are you going to sign?
A 5 WAR player is definitely worth 20 per by going rates. Plus the tv contract is up.
Name some names that improve the team? This magical platoon for Maybin and relievers that improve a team at more than 4 WAR this year?
Ian Kennedy just got 14 million a year. Chris Davis just got 23 per, at 250 average 45 homers and playing 1b.
Baseball teams make money. Free agency is expensive.
|31 weeks 4 days ago||Who?||
Who was available in trade or money that would make them better and cheaper?
|31 weeks 4 days ago||Upton's only option is after 2 years||
So he might opt out after 2 years. May cost the Tigers only 50 million for 2 years. I assume its front loaded.
You can't cry over spilled milk. Fielder was bad, but Dombrowski did a magic trick.
Yes in 6 years, it might be more and he's worth. But he will be still only 34. All contracts look bad at the end.
|31 weeks 4 days ago||Illitch is desparate||
The window so to speak is closing. If he can kick it open 2 more years it is "worth" it.
|31 weeks 4 days ago||Except you can't get those for 20 million||
A platoon Rajai Davis type is 5 million per. Leaving you with 15 per for a pitcher.
Which is basically what Ian Kennedy got. Yikes
JV, Zimmy, Sanchez, Norris, Pelfrey is a decent rotation. Heck the last two WS winners won with less in the rotation.
Upton is a 1st half player though. I agree.

ESPN won their bid. They have to pay them their money. Bowl games have no worries that ratings were down.
Read Wetzel's piece.
Even when ESPN balks, someone else will pay them. (Fox)Remember these are non-profits, who less money means one less golf trip

Yes, I've used them for a gift of Devin Hester. Not bad but you get what you pay for. But I wasn't disappointed. My friend wasn't either, but there's not many options.
I've used Michaels for a Verlander Jersey and Woodson Jersey. The cheapest I've found. But you have to use their special coupons.
I framed a Woodson Jersey last year for $425. Had some bells and whistles through. However it would have cost $600 without the coupon. So without the coupon its way too much.

Harbaugh- "Thanks for coming, we need to discuss things about the fit."
Pruitt- "Don't bother, I'm just using this meeting to claim you offered 1.2 million so that Bama will give me that."
Harbaugh--" But I.. We didn't..."
Pruitt- "Doesn't matter, I'll tell Bama they need to match or better and they will. Worst case I take slightly less and I'm a hero for taking less money."
Harbaugh-- "Get out of my office."

If he was shown or admitted to being drunk at the ASU game, thats enough to be fired.
He was putting young men's health at risk by not being 100%. How can a coach stand beforea team giving it all, and be drunk
Sure its hyperbole, but considering Hoke had some questionable judgment totally sober vs Minnesota.
You don't get 2nd chances in cases like this
|1 year 16 weeks ago||I had same situation10 years ago||
Get the dog. I found a way working on 2nd degree and working mostly full time. The dog figured out when I came home, it was walk time. it's continued to this day. Most dogs don't need more than 30 -45 minutes after age 2. I'm sure between two of you, you should be able to find that time 5-7 times a week. I find it relaxing.
I have a Vizsla which are high energy. He's left home alone all day and has run of the house, don't recommend that until 1-2 years old. But if you have a dog from a puppy he will learn your schedule and adapt.

This is not coming from the athletic department. The Daily can't confirm it and its from this leader of a organization on campus. Doesn't seem that concrete.
"Caris LeVert will announce his NBA Draft decision Tuesday, according to a representative of the Order of Angell, a campus honor society from which LeVert has accepted a membership invitation for the 2015-16 academic year."
|1 year 24 weeks ago||So Stubhub and every non direct sale is dishonest||
As someone who just scalped my opening day tickets, I just find it silly you think its dishonest.
I have two tickets behind the plate that I sold for $600. Is it better that I go on StubHub where I have to pay 10% and my buyer has to pay a fee too?
The buyer had a market utility of those tickets of $600, and I did not, hence the sale.
Do you think every middle man buyer /seller only marks up the items enough to feed their mouths? Is everything above that dishonest?
Teams and markets are placing some tickets on these secondary market at preminum, in order to make more money.
Heck I had the opportunity through "dynamic pricing" to buy $500 per ticket to UTL 2 through the athletic department.
Also, I had a friend as account exective for the Mavs through their really good years Final runs. He said they were instructed not to sell to brokers and there were penalties for doing so.
However, they were never enforced, and they also had pressure to get 50 sellouts (regular and preseason) and they were paid on a heavy commission. So it was lip service.
But it's why you see sellouts and empty seats in the lower bowl even for the good teams in the NBA especially weekdays. Those are broker seats
|1 year 30 weeks ago||Property Damages||
They could be seriously inflated. The Greek system responsible can be on the hook for the actual property damages AND the loss of income of not having those rooms available for use rent in the prime season

So does Spike leave early for the NBA?

" We have worked closely CSG over the past year and this will continue to strengthen our very important work with the student community."
Would the CSG agree with that statement? Were their voices heard, given a chance when the price increase, general seating, punishment/rewards for seats decisions were being made?
Or now is it convenient to spread the blame and say, you've been doing something when clearly you have not until it bites you in the rear end

The reason it took so long was because they had to figure out how much time to the reset on the clock.

Is this the basis of an argument that if we give them scholorships for life, we can have their image rights for life?

that will ship it legally to Texas. Lived in Houston for 4 years. Prices are astronomical. I think I paid $40 for a 12. Most of it in shipping. Was not a smart purchase. I think I had luck with a company in Virginia.
|2 years 29 weeks ago||Relegation||
This could possibly lead to relegation in the conference.
Or a system where you guarantee the best 6 teams play each other in the top division, 3 cross divisions.
Top two overall records play for title at end
|2 years 29 weeks ago||Lived in Houston||
Have shopped at his chain of stores. They do this every year, heck they did it twice a year for the SB and the national title game.
I think what they do is pull off all the special sales they usually run and then you are paying full price for everything. Markups and everything what they are.
He had a 400,000 steer on display in his store when I was there, he's probably doing ok.
