But we really won b/c of Frankie and TW. They were incredible. Great energy on both ends. 10 big points. They are going to be great next couple years.
Michigan energy all over the floor every player making plays except maybe Houstan. Spacing on offensive end best for the season. We benefited from having Frankie C. on the floor.
Houstan played great defense. He made contributions outside the score board.
Yes, felt like he was great defensively today. Basically took Vescovi out of the game

My school in Ohio is doing a homeroom NCAA bracket contest and my students picked the teams for me. When we got to Michigan/Tennessee several vocal students convinced the rest of the class to pick Michigan to win. I was hopeful, and so happy to see they won. Those kids earned the class some extra recess on Monday.
They would prefer cash.
Maybe I can give them candy too.

There they are! We are a 3 ball killing, second half winning team.
Houstan and Johns were the only two to not show up today. The substitution of T Will over Diabate (finally) saved the game.
T Will played great but you make the 13 pts, 6 rebounds and 3 blocks that Diabate had sound like he should've been at the end of the bench.
Diabate also missed a handful of gimme layups. He was definitely a plus on the defensive end but offensively he left a lot to be desired out there today.
I think it was more the timing of Williams coming in. UT had gone small and Diabate was having a hard time on both ends due to that. Juwan finally went small by subbing Williams, and that immediately lead to good things happening.
Otherwise, Diabate had a pretty decent game. Some bad fumbles and missed layups, but pretty good defensively, especially from the weak side which we really haven't seem much. Hit some big buckets too
