If he was shown or admitted to being drunk at the ASU game, thats enough to be fired.
He was putting young men's health at risk by not being 100%. How can a coach stand beforea team giving it all, and be drunk
Sure its hyperbole, but considering Hoke had some questionable judgment totally sober vs Minnesota.
You don't get 2nd chances in cases like this

Get the dog. I found a way working on 2nd degree and working mostly full time. The dog figured out when I came home, it was walk time. it's continued to this day. Most dogs don't need more than 30 -45 minutes after age 2. I'm sure between two of you, you should be able to find that time 5-7 times a week. I find it relaxing.
I have a Vizsla which are high energy. He's left home alone all day and has run of the house, don't recommend that until 1-2 years old. But if you have a dog from a puppy he will learn your schedule and adapt.

This is not coming from the athletic department. The Daily can't confirm it and its from this leader of a organization on campus. Doesn't seem that concrete.
"Caris LeVert will announce his NBA Draft decision Tuesday, according to a representative of the Order of Angell, a campus honor society from which LeVert has accepted a membership invitation for the 2015-16 academic year."

As someone who just scalped my opening day tickets, I just find it silly you think its dishonest.
I have two tickets behind the plate that I sold for $600. Is it better that I go on StubHub where I have to pay 10% and my buyer has to pay a fee too?
The buyer had a market utility of those tickets of $600, and I did not, hence the sale.
Do you think every middle man buyer /seller only marks up the items enough to feed their mouths? Is everything above that dishonest?
Teams and markets are placing some tickets on these secondary market at preminum, in order to make more money.
Heck I had the opportunity through "dynamic pricing" to buy $500 per ticket to UTL 2 through the athletic department.
Also, I had a friend as account exective for the Mavs through their really good years Final runs. He said they were instructed not to sell to brokers and there were penalties for doing so.
However, they were never enforced, and they also had pressure to get 50 sellouts (regular and preseason) and they were paid on a heavy commission. So it was lip service.
But it's why you see sellouts and empty seats in the lower bowl even for the good teams in the NBA especially weekdays. Those are broker seats

They could be seriously inflated. The Greek system responsible can be on the hook for the actual property damages AND the loss of income of not having those rooms available for use rent in the prime season

" We have worked closely CSG over the past year and this will continue to strengthen our very important work with the student community."
Would the CSG agree with that statement? Were their voices heard, given a chance when the price increase, general seating, punishment/rewards for seats decisions were being made?
Or now is it convenient to spread the blame and say, you've been doing something when clearly you have not until it bites you in the rear end

The reason it took so long was because they had to figure out how much time to the reset on the clock.

Is this the basis of an argument that if we give them scholorships for life, we can have their image rights for life?

that will ship it legally to Texas. Lived in Houston for 4 years. Prices are astronomical. I think I paid $40 for a 12. Most of it in shipping. Was not a smart purchase. I think I had luck with a company in Virginia.

This could possibly lead to relegation in the conference.
Or a system where you guarantee the best 6 teams play each other in the top division, 3 cross divisions.
Top two overall records play for title at end
|1 year 42 weeks ago||Lived in Houston||
Have shopped at his chain of stores. They do this every year, heck they did it twice a year for the SB and the national title game.
I think what they do is pull off all the special sales they usually run and then you are paying full price for everything. Markups and everything what they are.
He had a 400,000 steer on display in his store when I was there, he's probably doing ok.

Good coaches can overcome the loss of a starter. Two starters in the frontcourt is a big deal and easy for the media to discuss.
However, why do we feel like the Dawson injury is like other injuries. He hurt himself by stupidity. Thats not bad luck or anything else, its stupdity. Not like Payne or Mcgary with game/chronic injuries.
Thats like me driving my car into the wall, then whining how my car is broken down and I can't get to work.
Also, I don't know the refs names, but it seemed like 2 of them were calling a legit game and the taller one with dark hair was Spartan Bob. He was the one standing over Spike ignoring the timeout. I'm pretty sure he called at least one phantom call on Morgan on the Appling travel call.

Michigan 67-52 and its not that close
|2 years 45 weeks ago||I want to expound a little||
Let's say its true; as a media contact at ND, don't I contact the family of the deceased to make sure it's ok that her name is put in the media.
If you were the family wouldnt you expect this before they used her name and pictures on television?
And if you are the media, wouldn't a quote from her father, mother, family member whatever be something you want to get. Something how Te'o helped her to be strong throughout her battle? How he was a positive influence in her life? Especially since this was not a short lived story.
|2 years 45 weeks ago||It really bugs me||
that ND and media were parading this apparition's name through the media and the world and not one of them tried to contact her fictional family.
Also, I find it hilarious in the South Bend Tribune article, it talks of Te'o using Skype with his family but never occured to him to use it with his girlfriend.
|2 years 45 weeks ago||5th Season of the Wire||
Te'o is McNaulty; ESPN is Templeton.
It is all in my notes..
|2 years 45 weeks ago||Media||
So the media slurped this story down and not one of them even tried to talk to the apparition's parents? You would figure since the media hype lasted for weeks that maybe someone would try to get a quote from them or at the very least get permission to use a dead girl's photos.
Or ask if the family they wanted this media attention. Did Te'o say they were all on vacation? Maybe I'm giving too much credit to the media.
|2 years 46 weeks ago||You are right, except you are wrong too||
For the Basketball blue bloods, Duke, UNC, Kentucky, UCLA is does not matter.
But for a team like Michigan, it does because it increases the profile and generates tv interest on ESPN etc. It allows us to say to recruits to come here and you can be the best in country. Something we haven't been able to close to be saying for 15 years, which is longer then most of the new recruits can remember.
Agree with the rest of your points. I'm thinking 4 regular season losses. @ IU, @ minny, @ MSU and some crap loss no one sees coming, that causes a melt down on the board due to refs, horrible shooting, or red hot opponent shooting. I may be thinking at Wisco where the refs think they are playing at Camp Randall.

that NBC is cool with this. When I say cool with this, I mean willing to pump millions of dollars into the school.
NBC with the Michigan series was either guaranteeed a USC game at home or Michigan. Both huge football traditional powerhouses with large fan and alumni bases. Now NBC is guaranteed USC on odd number years and uh Stanford on the evens?
I know ND may demand that FSU be scheduled instead, but I still think thats a step down in potential tv draw from Michigan. Also, I thought the ACC was choosing the scheudule each year.
I know I hate NBC because of the announcer and how they manage to shove a commerical into every posession change and heck after every kickoff Saturday.
Also ND broke up with Michigan the same way a 5th grade girl does with her boyfriend. Calling LSU freak.

Maybe he doesn't like football. Maybe he doesn't want to spend the 60+ hours a week a Division 1 program requires.
Maybe he doesn't want to wreck his knees or be concussed multiple times.
It's not everyone's dream to play Divsion 1 football and the NFL. Kudos for the kid who made a tough decision and who is talented enough to get a track schorship.
I hope random people criticizes your life decisions too
Best of luck to him.

I think a conference ban is acceptable with the exception of the home state of the player. Unless the current school is also in the home state. IE no transfers from Purdue to Indiana.
But banning players from a whole separte region or state is silly. Any coach or person with a job can move at will. Why is it the first school's choice. I mean if I'm a lawyer, engineer whatever and want to go to a competing firm, I can. I mean they are paying me, which is pretty similar to a scholaship in my opinion.
|3 years 32 weeks ago||A transfer||
shouldn't cripple the basketball team or football team either. I don't think a transfer on the basketball team would cripple the team. Most transfers are transfers because they aren't getting minutes anyway.
Plus taking the scenario further. Let's say its some genius in the bio medical department. Does Michigan block that student from going to Harvard or John Hopkins. Heck, I could even claim those schools are in direct competion for research grants too.
|3 years 32 weeks ago||Devil's advocate||
Let's say I have an full ride academic scholorship. I decide I hate Wisconsin and want to go to Maryland etc. Does Wisconsin block me from doing that? By your logic, I accepted a full ride scholarship,
You are correct a walk on can transfer anywhere, but still has to sit out a year even if he pays his own way.
Beilein has a good grasp on this. That 40% of BCS schools players transfer or go to NBA. It's Wisonsin with its head in the sand, trying to ignore the problem
