Why isn't anyone giving any love to the catcher who caught 5 balls at the same time?! Seems equally as amazing to me. |

Due to the distraction that such a reunion would cause, I would prefer that if it were to happen, it take place at a game with little intrigue on the court. Penn State, completely defeated in conference play, could be the perfect game for it. * Disclaimer - when the photos of the new freshman class were going around before the season, my first thought was, "Why is McGary wearing Webber's jersey?" So, I'm obviously still a fan of the Fab Five. |

With the Athetic Department's decision to "unretire" numbers, the Braylon scholarship for the #1 jersey might have an unintended consqeuence: keeping Michigan from honoring AC like its other legends. Now that Bennie's and Kramer's and Ford's (and Harmon's and the Wisters' to come) jerseys are back on the field, the absence of #1 will be more striking. AC is one of the all-time greats and the scholarship, though a very gracious idea, might do more harm than good. Since no one has worn the jersey since Braylon left, it hasn't been given the proper audience and won't until a "worthy" player comes along to earn it. It's a blessing and a curse that the Braylon scholarship has placed on the #1 now that Michigan's other legends' names and numbers are reappearing on the field. I only hope that some sort of accord can be met so that AC can join the ranks of the other worthy former players who are getting their proper honor from this year forward. |

You're forgetting that the #1 wasn't the huge honor back then that it became after the Braylon scholarship. The time off between M greats wasn't a big deal after AC or Alexander (never forget!) or Terrell. But now, there is such emphasis on giving it to "The Next" that it's nearly impossible (improbable?) for a receiver to "earn" it. |

| 39 weeks 3 hours ago | All about votes |
Ohio is a battleground state. Obama knows this (as he is smarter than everyone in that place, combined). As such, he is stooping to their intellectual level so as to not seem elitist. This man is a brilliant politician. He needs their votes, whether they can spell "OHIO" or not. By adapting to their stupidity, he just won himself the state. |

Can we please think of Craig James?!?! Jalen already has a job. But poor Craig James is unemployed. The humanity! |

You can tell the Bo statue is pissed b/c he's trying to push the red cape away from him. |

The Fab Five would not approve of GRIII's shorts. They don't even graze knee cap! Also, I hope the '12/'13 unis are more like GRIII's than McGary's. It doesn't look like GRIII's has the white outline around the letters. Plus, it looks more maize (all photography caveats noted). |

+1, good sir. Can't win an award if it doesn't yet exist. Also, more M fans need to know about the man who reinvented the game. |

Michigan needs to declare war on Maine! There isn't room for two states that use a hand for a map. |
| 51 weeks 3 hours ago | Datsyuk |
I disagree. Zetterberg wasn't even wearing the A for a lot of the season, including the playoffs. I think Datsyuk should get the C for being the best player and an increasingly bigger voice on the team. So while I love Hank, I think Pavel is more deserving. |

If the "experts" rave about playoff games in Green Bay, Chicago, and New England as how playoff football is "supposed to be," I see nothing wrong w/ playoff games in Ann Arbor, Madison, or Columbus. It makes little sense that sunny, warm playoff games aren't "real" playoff games in the NFL but should be in college. |

The fact that it's Shane's 1-year anniversary got me thinking about our 2nd commit for the class. Haven't heard much about Dymonte Thomas re: camps, workouts, etc. Anyone know why that is? |

He lost part of his left leg!!!! It's like he just brings along his left foot to stage it in pictures. |
| 1 year 7 weeks ago | Tomorrow |
Love him and hope he finishes the season strong with them. But let's hope his professional career starts tomorrow. The Wings are hot and once the starter gets pulled, it would be a steep hill to climb for his first NHL action. But it's good that JMFJ is there for support as another Wolverine in buckeye land. |

I LOVED Coach Beilein's reaction when CBS showed the team during the announcement. He flew out of his chair. Such pride. Go Blue! |

Don't sleep on Marquette. I think the winner of Marq/Mizz wins that region. |
| 1 year 11 weeks ago | Wolverines |
Overall, I think Jalen has some work to do on the mic. However, I did like that he is one of the few announcers who routinely refers to us as Wolverines. Too many times we only get "Blue" or "Michigan" or the bang-your-head-against-a-wall "Big Blue." So, for that, I think Jalen's starting off on the right foot. He's no Pam Ward. |
| 1 year 13 weeks ago | Agreed. |
Agreed. And in defense of the announcers, they were all over the officials for that call. |
| 1 year 14 weeks ago | FSU |
Agreed. I grew up in Florida and FSU always had a respectful relationship with the Seminole Tribe. But more than just respect, FSU actually gives monetary support to the Tribe. Furthermore, the Tribe helped design FSU's mascot's outfit. So the "Seminoles" nickname is acceptable because it is used with the blessing of, you know, actual Seminoles. I've never heard one compelling argument as to why "Redskins" is acceptable in any way. |

about Lewis' rant is that he is blaming college for failing Pac-man all while putting together one of the worst grammatical sentences uttered. |
