As reported by John Talley & Matt Sentz (SEC reporters)

From @mzenitz and me, per sources: There are COVID-19 issues at Ohio State that have led to discussions about possibly having to push back the national title game to a later date https://t.co/8F7GiP7b7o

We get it, you are a buckeye troll, but seemingly every year OSU has one WTF game (at Purdue, at Iowa, etc.) and the best way to not have one of those, is to not play the games. One loss may have knocked them out of the playoffs.

Why would an OSU fan come to a rival blog and masquerade as a Michigan fan when you have it all?  Very sociopathic.  GTFO of here, and go back to 11W. Now you can brag how you were able to totally troll us for months and fooled us all, NO ONE suspected a thing and you are so clever!  You just got bored and stopped posting because we are so lame.  You will be a hero among douchebags.  Kinda like being the smartest pathetic douchebag in the Pathetic Douchebag Club (PDC).  Eat a bag of dicks.  And pass the bag around among the PDC, let them eat some dicks too.

Eh, they will play.  This is them building an excuse in the event they lose.  "We lost critical practice time and we soldiered through it."  The ESPN schmucks will prop them up and aggrandize them for no good reason.

I am sure saban will give them all the time they need to recover and play whenever they feel ready. I am sure his players will understand if they just need to keep practicing every day not knowing exactly when that national championship game is going to happen.

I saw this rumor last night and I wondered if it was genuinely true.

My immediate, unfiltered reaction: "F 'em!"

Either forfeit or play with what you have.

Bama seems to be preparing well to play the game on time. For once, Ohio State should face the consequences of its own problems.

ETA:

If any Ohio State fan blames Clemson, know the following:

Pre-OSU, Clemson played 11 games against 10 different opponents.

Did any of those opponents have an outbreak after playing Clemson? Only 1 (Pitt) did. (I just looked it up.)

Don't let OSU fans blame Clemson. F OSU.

I guess this is a fitting end to the season.

Do they have more guys out than the 20 they had for Northwestern, or are these ones just more important?

Yeah, wouldn't want anyone to miss the nail biting suspense.

Which of the recycled 3 teams will win it all?

Consolidation is the last stage of the death of an industry.

So the team that has done a better job of not having a break-out has to wait while the undisciplined one gets ANOTHER rules adjustment to solve their COVID/rib issues.

At what point does that program ever have to learn about real-world consequences for bad decisions?
