It's idiotic posts like these that make me wish we could buy negative votes just so I don't have to see assholes like you post. Many people were saying we would be 6-6 this year. New system, new coaches, new quarterback, wtf did you think? That Harbaugh was going to poop gold?
Bo got his ass handed to him by Missouri his first year (yes and then kicked OSU's ass) so stuff happens. One data point does not make a legacy.

Less red than I remember in a long time. I agree about not selling your tickets to the enemy but there were fewer bucknuts in my eyes than usual and I have been going since 1969 and a season ticker holder for 20+ years. Not much to cheer about today.

I was at that 10-10 banner game. At 15 I was ready to charge the field and bust some buckeyes, but I was with my mom :-) I can't imaging being any more worked up than I was at that point in time.
We were under the impression that a tie would get us to the Rose Bowl since that seemed to be the standard as I belive OSU had gone the year before. But we were screwed by a vote of Big 10 Athletic directors. Bo went off on that.

My stepmom has my dad's tickets since my dad died 15 years or so ago. There are the seats I sat in as a kid and heard my parents talk about seing Roger Staubach play Michigan in the Big House so I think they got them in the early 60's. Not sure if she is interested in transferring but the cost would be:
$600 per seat transfer fee
$400 more per seat PSD per year than what I pay now
Just not sure the $2k in year 1 and $800 more per year is worth it. Great seats at about the 45 at about row 50 but I am closing in on retirement and am not sure I want to take on that load. I'm not sure my son would be able to afford them for several years.
I'm thinking of just keeping my Section 42 and forgoing Section 1. I guess I am just a cheap Fat Bastard.

It's interesting how competent the Daily writers are compared to the MMM

I have both and they are about the same price - $25 - $35. I prefer Roku. Both have the ability to screen miror from a tablet or phone. I have only done it a bit and it was kludgy.
Watch ESPN on Roku works great, not sure about B1G.

Kudos to all of the great carvers!
|3 weeks 6 days ago||Agreed!||
If the fucking Big Ten can bring in crap like Rutgers the least they can do is hire full time officials. Schools can pay coaches millions but not get competent officials? I think they would need about 50 officials. Say we pay them $150k each including all benefits that would be $7.5 million for the whole league.
I think the TV contract alone is $500 million. I's say spending 1.5% of the TV revenue would be a good investment.

I thouight Ross made many mistakes. He was one of the missed tackles on the screen pass on 3rd and 17 and did not account for the Quaterback on some read options and waggles.

From what body language I saw on TV I think Morris is gone. I saw him looking chagrinned with a slight negative head shake. I get the feeling he wants out at the end of the year.

I'm thinking Hoke for Minnesota. Knows the Midwest, does not need a coat when it is cold and they will accept 7-5 and 8-4 every other year.

Great point, kind of like a lingering burrito fart, can't wait for the stench to pass completely.

Agreed, but at least RR's team took them to OT in East Lansing.
|6 weeks 3 days ago||I hope so.||
I hope so. I started watching in the late 60's when our beatdowns of MSU were common, so it took me awhile to recognize they were good the last few years, I'm hoping my nervousness is simply a lag in the other direction.
It took me awhile to be confident that our basketball team could beat them.
|6 weeks 3 days ago||I can't get there||
I can't get there. I am still so shell shocked by the last couple of beatdowns it is difficult for me to be confident. You know they will pull out all of the stops, trick plays, fakes on special teams, and a quarterback who can throw deep.
I hope if all works out but I am nervous as hell. Hopefully a win will lead me to be more of a believer.

Jon-Erik Hexum had the ultimate "Sparty no!" moment. Google it. Also played football and was from New Jersey.

You know you are screwed when the past tire fire that is ND coaching looks better than USC
|6 weeks 6 days ago||I think he meant||
I think he meant RR's folksy nature would not go over well in LA. He is a good fit for Arizona. I think he could coach fine but the rest of the stuff would not be so hot. Maybe they could grab Mike Reily from Nebraska :-)
They need the college football equivalent of Steve Lavin

Is John Robinson still alive for his 3rd tour of duty? He also never wore a headset like our old coach. He is only about 80 now, about the same age as Mr Smithers who coaches Kansas State.

Not if you are a member of the UAW. The union has negotiated rights for their workers. I assume it is the same with many Union workers.
