This seems like a good idea.

"Ann Arbor — Michigan center Hunter Dickinson said he was part of a decision to remove a published Barstool Sports podcast in which one of his co-hosts compared Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo to Adolf Hitler."

Sure. The rest of the world has been populated by peace loving innocents.

It is amazing to find so many people who somehow think that Europeans were/are more violent than other peoples. Humans of all races and cultures have had the same basic nature throughout history. If Aztecs and Mayans had come across a group of militarily and technologically weaker Europeans occupying a desirable territory, do you think they would have treated them better than they were treated by the Spaniards?

My general view is that all the genocidal sociopaths are basically the same - it just depends in which era they existed and how much power they managed to acquire (ie, how much damage they could inflict - and how well history can judge them is really based on recencency bias/ability to chronicle their crimes)

They are all monsters and of the same sociopathic mind - just differentiated by era, technology and opportunity.  None of them are grey area, "yeah, but" individuals.

Portnoy was also the definition of the kid who didn't belong at Michigan and graduated by the hair of his teeth:

Portnoy, who was originally only accepted to the School of Nursing at Michigan, quickly transferred into LSA after arriving on campus. Unable to pass the undergraduate language requirement, he transferred again into the School of Education, where he graduated with no intention to become a teacher
