You've got your degree in hand and get to play football for another year. If you don't feel like getting an actual master's degree, you can pick somewhere that sounds fun, have a blast for a year playing football and having fun, and then enter the workforce afterward.

Frankly, after 4 years of Ann Arbor winters, I might go look into something like SDSU, Miami, Hawaii, etc. and just have fun for a year

Ah yes, I remember it well - I don't recall the precise numbers, but I remember the date well. For a few hours there, it seemed as if entire counties were commiting to Michigan. Of course, getting onto this site was nearly impossible for about 12 hours, but what else is new?

In any case, I wish Shallman nothing but the best wherever he ends up.

I was always dissapointed he never became a contributer at RB or FB for Michigan. He reminded me of Jerome Bettis just with how hard he ran and the bruiser back that he was in High School, obviously not as talented as the Bus. Good luck to him.

Off-topic, but I read your signature link. Found this gem

The Morris controversy is fading as the media moves on to the next shiny object

Yeah, leaving a concussed player in a game, and taking an entire weekend to admit the screw-up was just "the media"

Man, the end of the Hoke years sure brought the stupid out in a lot of people

Again, I'm not saying they are even close to being comparable in talent level because they aren't, I'm merely refrencing the style with which both men ran the ball when they were in high school. That's it, the Bus is obviously one of the best RB's the game has seen and Shallman was moved to LB at Michigan because he's not.

That's all I'm saying, I don't understand this notion that a player's style can't be compared to an all-time great if they aren't good. I'm not comparing their talent levels, just how they ran the ball. Why is that such a no-no for people?

Was injuries the main reason he didn't see the field ? Really disappointed we couldn't see more of him.

Lack of interest in playing FB was always the rumbling about Wyatt. If he was not able to find a place on defense, and not capable of earning carries at RB than this is the best for everyone. I wish hm luck, maybe he can find a school where he can play RB.

Glad to see he was allowed to stay to get degree. I see over at eleven idiots that there all about meyer oversigning and forcing kids to transfer after two years if they have not produced. Meyer and that program are complete garbage. He does not belong in the college game, but really saban doesn't either. Ya he's happy when they make it to the pro's because it helps recruiting. I highly doubt he gives to flying fucks about how a transfers doing. That whole website talking about kids they need to force out so they can get more recruits and make 85. Meyer and fanbase= dogshit.
