This might be leaping to a conclusion, but from reading friday's recruiting and reading Tremendous's Recruiting Notes, I would guess that Treadwell was supposed to visit with his coach, but his coach was sick and plans changed (reading the Nyles Morgan note, since they go to the same school). Just a life thing that actually came up and probably nothing to do with recruiting. |

If my [theoretical] kid wanted to play, I'd let him. A lot of it has to do with my parents not letting me play, but I think the head injuries are overblown. Yes, it's a serious concern and yes, I'd like to see the game do more to protect players. However, football is a great way for a kid to stay healthy as are most sports. If my kid develops a passion for it, no way am I going to stop him. Also, I think sports but football in particular helps develop life skills that will help him later on. So yeah, I'd let my kid play. Also, the Ban College Football debate is one of the dumbest things I have ever seen. |

I think my first exposure to the Notre Dame green jerseys was back in the Ty Willingham era when they faced BC (I believe ND was undefeated at the time). BC stomped them in South Bend. It was hilarious. Those [Ireland game] jerseys are comical, but it's good branding/marketing for that game. I'm sure a lot of that fanbase will be all over that jersey too. |

I like the GLI jerseys a lot, but I'm not sure I want to proceed with buying one (and encouraging the many jerseys) until they fix the home and away ones. Sadly, I think no matter what, we'll have new jerseys next year that we will find unsatisfactory. It's disappointing. |
