I hope Mike and Mike spends as much time ripping the NCAA tomorrow as they did ripping Beilein about transfer restrictions. But between the Masters and whatever happens with the warriors vs. Spurs tonight I highly doubt it gets more than one segment.

I'll catch it every now and then when traveling for work if I hear them talking about something interesting. I just happened to hear Greenberg repeatedly bash Beilein, rightfully so on some aspects like on Spike's restrictions IMO, and he did tweet about this on Friday, I checked to see if he was consistent in his support of the kids.

So you're hoping that two employees of the network firmly in the back pocket of the conference that benefits the most from the ruling will speak out AGAINST the ruling?

As your doctor I would strongly advise you to NOT hold your breath. I will bet you they will speak out strongly in favor of the decision. Probably between 7:30-8:00.

and go back to the NFL.  Maybe not this year or next year, but this is the thing.   He's following the rules, the NCAA steps in and stops it while letting SEC schools just blantantly pay players.  I think he'll get fed up and realize that by following the rules you will always be at a disadvantage.  And when he feels that there's nothing he can do to level the playing field, he'll get frustrated and move back to the NFL. Of course I hope this doesn't happen.

I actually think he likes the challenge of winning the proper way. I bet he would love nothing more than to beat a few SEC teams in route to winning multiple National titles. In the process trying to clean up the travesty the NCAA gas become. If he does all that maybe he goes back to the NFL. If so, fine.

Online petitions are so cute...so are the people who sign them. It's like praying...it lets people think they're doing something, without requiring them to actually do something.

Interestingly, you're wrong. While the petition itself might not be effective on changing a particular policy, there is a lot of behavioral psychology research that says signing petitions makes a person more likely to get involved in other advocacy efforts.

So this might help get people more actively involved in the cause than they would be otherwise.

Signed. As an educator and coach I find it unfathomable that a governing body in charge of collegiate athletics would willingly deny student athletes the exercise their right to earn a potential athletic scholarship. I know too many kids who work extremely hard who have benefitted in some way from satellite camps.
