My wife was talking to a chimney repair guy who, after hearing I was a Michigan fan got all quiet and said they, as in Buffalo, don’t like Harbaugh because he punched Jim Kelly over 40 years ago! Lmao. Pretty sure they are gonna be salty about this for the next… forever!
I am not a coach but I always thought a good coach adapted their system to match the skills of the current players. At least to some degree. Then as you bring in recruits your are able to transition into "your style". It is like a teacher saying I can't teach these kids because they are not "my students". I heard our current coaching staff say they would adapt to the current personnel to put them in the best possible position to be successful.
I think it would be fun to "grade out" the reporters each week like they do the players. If you don't do well enough, you don't get to ask questions. MERITOCRICY!

In my humble opinion, it seems that there have been a few recruits that we have either gotten or have been in on that blew up not long after they popped up on our radar. I feel like I'm jumping on top of the dogpile by saying, "Trust the Harbaugh" but... there it is.
I know it is no longer last weekend and I should not live in the past, but any feedback from the group that was here for the Penn State game? There were some notable names.
Ultimately this is my worry. Where are the rest of the upper classmen? Particularly on the o-line. I'm glad to hear we are building up Newsome and Bredeson for next year but are we worried about the rest for next year?
Agreed. At some point we are going to need the norm to be mostly juniors and seniors as your starters and backups. Then we can let the youngsters marinate until the right time to unleash. Will be great when we get to a point like Alabama where a recruit like Hand rides the bench for a year. *just going to reapply a bandage to that old wound and back away*

Since I am not a high school student, can Harbaugh and company come do a camp for me and my fatty friends? It would get parents to fall in love with Harbaugh, live out their Al Bundy dreams of former glory, and be great press for the school. Until my friend has a heart attack...
As someone who was born and raised in North Dakota and went to UND, I hope this is a spirited competition between two great teams. As someone who grew up loving Michigan football and basketball (yes, it is because we have nothing else going on) and thinking hockey is overrated, I hope Blue stomps some barren wasteland ass!
Don't worry guys, I am going to write the coaches a letter detailing how to solve this issue. It is the same way I get my Madden team under the limit each year. I go to the positions that have the most guys and cut anyone under a "90" rating. I know this will work because I win the Super Bowl every year. You're welcome.

I liken it to being on Ameican Idol. You go on knowing the risks. You may get a no but you believe you will get a yes. You get voted through until suddenly you are gone. Some feelings are hurt along the way but the thought of making it on the big stage is worth the risk. I feel for the kid and would be hurt if it happened to me but this is not a nice business all the time. In the end, that is what this is. For the record, I am in no way suggesting that American Idol is anything but a trash heap of a show.
