I agree. There are some fakes involved here but having coaches against him I can tell you he is at least a legit 4.35 kid. Just not the quickest. Once up to full speed he is very fast though. He lacks vision and hands.
|2 hours 12 min ago||Honestly he is not very||
Honestly he is not very impressive either. His speed is legit, but he is a straight line runner. A track kid playing football. Avondale really misused him. Calling D against him was so predictable because he always wanted the edge. He was not very physical despite having the size to do so. He needs to work on his hands as well if he wants to be a special teams kind of guy.

I've said it for 2.5 years now. Stallworth is a bum. I rarely say such harsh words when describing a HS athlete but I want nothing to do with him. He was trash at south lake. You watched film on the kid and for 14-15 plays you wouldn't even know he was a D1 prospect. Transfers to king to play some better comp an has a solid, but not stellar season.

Probably just standing at attention like everyone else. Maybe thats enough to catch his eye. He just left HS three weeks ago.

I like the frame. I like the arm. I like his ability to run. You can tell he is no burner but he certainly is a long strider that can pick up yards if need be. This is someone who has all the attributes you simply can't coach. With Harbaugh at the helm this guy could become an absolute stud.

I believe we get several 2ish before NSD and then two more the day of. I believe CC will be one. Maybe the other being Marshall. I know the both of them on the same day is a bit of a pipe dream, but with all the positive vibes lately I could honestly see it happening.
Hell as I type this I am leaning more towards three.

I guess it could have ended up worse for us. We could have had someone like Mixon who tarnishes his reputation before ever really playing a down.
Despite the fact we didn't have an opportunity to see the Jabrill we would have liked to see as a freshman I am confident he will be a big time player for our Defense come the fall of '15. Hopefully we can see his role expand this offseason, if nothing else, at least more to special teams.
Lets also hope We can pull in Mr. Marshall and truely have a tandem of 5 star talent in our secondary.
The future is bright.

I like the move. Although the one guy of the bunch I wouldn't want is stallworth. Don't think he's worth flipping.
|1 week 6 days ago||I tend to think it will be||
I tend to think it will be close for a bit and the one team will begin to pull away at the beginning of the fourth. I really hope thats Oregon. It comes down to two factors for me. 1. The run game of both squads. 2. The tempo of the game.
I feel like ohio is the better team at the moment. They have the better, morem well rounded RB. They probably have the better receivers (now). Oregon has the better QB and probably slighty the better line, at least for their scheme.
On D, ohio's D line will cause problems, but as Oregon showed against Florida State, their effectiveness can be minimalized. Assuming they dont tip a pass that turns into a turnover I dont feel like they will have an immense impact (please don't be wrong!). The rest of ohio's D is ok, but not stellar. They will get run down and confused with the pace if Oregon gets in a groove. It has happened to everyone else (except Arizona once) this season.
Regardless, if ohio runs the ball well, to me thats the difference in the game.
Going against my better judgement I'll say 41-35 Oregon. ohio will have a shot at the end put will come up short. Lets hope they have some turnovers.

To be fair safety is one of the most difficult positions to find for a collegiate football program. It's always difficult to find them because they are often not safeties at the HS level. As previously mentioned Safeties are typically linebackers in high school, especially if they come from an average program. As a coach I often take kids who would be stud safeties and bring them closer to the LOS as a backer. I do it because I have always coached D from the line back. By trade I am a WR/secondary coach. But over time I have realized if you can control the lOS and stop the run in HS you can be in almost any game regardless of skill or talent.

This man is a genius. At this point no publicity is bad publicity. Gets his face out to potential recruits and keeps us at the forefront of the news.

People were certainly taught to put their head on the ball, but wasn't it always with the facemask up?

The guardian protection system uses this same principle. Although they are just semi-flat gel pads that strap on the outside of the helmet like an exo-skeleton the principle I dispersion is very similar. Obviously more surface area I disperse the impact the more protected one is, at least in theory.

I personally like helmet stickers. People claim they go against "the team" motto, but I do not believe so. They entice competition and hard work. During the game itself is by no means the only time you can earn them.

His HS plays decent comp. the catholic league has, for the most part, solid squads. La Salle does play one of the weakest schedules of the catholic league. They consistently play weak Windsor squads.

True. We didn't have any -48 or -52 yard rushing games in 14'. There were actually a couple where the run game almost looked semi-effective. Hopefully that jump will come.

I have to agree with your sediments on this one. That game was extremely frustrating to watch not only because Ohio pulls the upset, but also because of Lane Kiffin's extremely poor play calling.

I'm not disagreeing with this. But I'm curious, where has this idea come from. I've heard it in other places, but has Rosen come out and said that he would be interested in joining us and leaving UCLA pending the Harbaugh hire? I just haven't seen anything from his end. Hopefully I just missed something.

I don't think Nuss was a poor QB coach. Saw him coach live on three different occasions (with primarily HS QBs) and he knew what he was doing. One of the better and more detailed QB coaches I've seen. Didn't seem to help shane much.
