I'm guessing he's talking about Nesta Silvera, who has a few offers from Kentucky, Mississippi State, and Syracuse. He's not highly rated, AFAIK. He did visit recently though (with Slaton and Herbert).

Otherwise, Michigan has only offered two American Heritage teammates in 2018, and neither one is a DT.

This would be fantastic. Looks like a super player and another very high character young man.

That wears after. He's a monster and it's gonna come down to Michigan and Bama for his services. He's visiting in November for an official. He's been here 2-3 times already. He's who we need 6'7 350

I just read that while he is physically a 5-star - his technique is not as good as say Bredeson's was in HS. Which primarily means he may not be a slam-dunk starter as a true Frosh. I don't doubt that he is the highest OL on M's board given his potential.

He, and the others, have been notified that "The addition of Honigford means they can probably only take three of their four main targets on the O-line, which are Kai-Leon Herbert, TJ Slaton, Cesar Ruiz, and Isaiah Wilson."

He was told to feel free to wait, but the ship may sail without him. If he knows he wants a spot, he needs to join the crew.

Of course, that's just my theory.....

Well, here's what Steve Lorenz wrote last week:

"Honestly, I really liked the fact that they didn't pressure me in any way, shape or form," Herbert said. "The schools recruiting me know that I want to decide before my senior season, and some have pressured me into committing earlier than I planned on. The 'We need you. You can be a leader for us' type stuff. Michigan does the exact opposite. They just treated TJ and I like we were already part of the family. I can talk to them about stuff besides football and have gotten to know them as people."

It's not pressure to inform a prospect that although the team would love for him to join them, the team is running out of spots.

That's just open, honest, mutually beneficial communication. That's the way I expect Michigan to execute its recruiting game plan.
