"The University of Illinois is also in turmoil. The university sports an Interim Chancellor, an Interim Athletic Director, and an Interim Football Coach; the game will be played at Soldier Field, making this an Illini Interim Home Game."

From the ref's under the goal posts who look up and signal good or no, since they'll be looking towards God.

Not to sound like an ass or idiot, but it seems that people agree that these sources steal from pay sites, but those pay sites also don't mention the player's name, but the sources both have the same name for the injured player, it seems like there is a link or something there.
I've never paid for rivals or scout, so I don't know how much they give away without actually saying the player's name, so maybe it is easy to tell from their posts anyway.

If they just posted a video, or kickstarter, or whatever and let it grow by a grassroot campaign, and it earned enough money to pay someone to poop out a song, I would disagree but have no hate towards them.
But to use the tactics they are using, I can't get behind. When you count on friends and family to up vote you, pay for interviews, and just plug yourself everywhere, it hurts this kind of campaign. If you have to work this hard for something that should be of the fan, for the fan, then you haven't achieved that at all.

You sir, are a Michigan Man.
In the past whenever friends who aren't Michigan fans brought up what the term "Michigan Man" meant, thinking that only graduates of UofM can have that moniker applied to them, I would try to explain something like this. You're smart and prepared and use your abilities to help others.

Being and asshole doesn't mean you're an idiot. I met plenty of UofM, highly intelligent, social responsible people during my 8 years in Ann Arbor, 6 years in undergrad and grad school, who were just huge dicks. Most of them were in programs or from families where they felt overly entitled, much like I imagine these two boys were.
That being said, if I was around when this event happened, I would have wanted to punch those two boys square in the mouth.

I woke up this morning from a dream that said I'd read about the merry pranksters on mgoblog, but I just assumed it would have been in a thread about Leo Dicaprio coaching at Notre Dame.

I was drinking Baird/Ishii/Stone Japanese Green Tea IPA at a drinking establisment this evening. I enjoyed it so much that I came home and jammed a bunch of Lipton Earl Grey tea bags into a 40 of St. Ives. And I must say, that other than my creation tasting disgusting and nothing like the BISJGTIPA, it tasted just like the BISJGTIPA.

He does wear many different schools, like 20-30, but I do remember reading somewhere that he at least has a friend of family member who attended, or is a big fan of each school.
So at least Leo knows someone who, in someway, likes Michigan. That's bigger than going to the moon.

|44 weeks 15 hours ago||Wow, you missed my point||
Wow, you missed my point entirely. i'm saying that people who think just because it was a blowout that the NFL shouldn't look into it further to see if this has been systematic behavior for the Patriots are possibly missing a bigger issue. Yes, the level of inflation in the football made no difference in the AFC Championship game.
And I did play both football and basketball in high school. Having a football under inflated does make a difference to how it feels and how easy it is to grip and handle.
|44 weeks 21 hours ago||I also don't understand why||
I also don't understand why you can't use NFL ballboys, they use them for the chain gang. I think that they should use the same balls, or since they let them scuff the balls up anyway, why not just let each team inflate them to whatever level they want.
You know teams would invest money and time into finding just the perfect pressure for different weather and temps. Studio analysts will then be able to break down whether or not a team lost because of using a too highly inflated ball that led to a late fumble.
|44 weeks 21 hours ago||I agree that this is stupid,||
I agree that this is stupid, overblown and gone on way too long. But at this point, the only thing that matters is if the NFL can find and prove that this has been ordered by the coaching staff and going on for a long time. If it turns out that the Pats deflate balls every game, or even just every cold/wet game, then it is a big deal.
I think that that everyone who completely dismisses this issue based only on the AFC championship game are missing a, possibly, bigger issue.

I assume that we have all made decisions when we were 16/17/18 years old that we regretted six hours later.
I know when I was 16 I decided not to wrap it up and six hours later I realized it was bad idea. A couple weeks later I was really worried about my decision and my future, but it all worked out and was a false alarm and I didn't have some small human being screaming at me for the next four years.
We'll see how McMillon's story plays out the next few weeks/years.

This might be taken the wrong way, but how did it set back your house a decade or more? Ok, it takes 10 years to get back to the same status, but it isn't like your research got destroyed and you had to start over.
I know, it is probably just syntax, but I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

I was going to ask the same thing. What are the rules for transfers like this? Is it where he played the most, where he graduated, or just both? This is very important to figure out.
|44 weeks 6 days ago||Don't know if this is how it||
Don't know if this is how it works, but here is how I'd think of it if I were a coach.
I'd grade out players where there is interest and if they have a certain grade, say 90 or higher, I'd offer them. As other players commit to other schools and NSD gets closer and closer I'd lower my threshold. If I get a kid with a verbal to Michigan at the same position, I'd raise my threshold for new offers, so I'd offer a kid with a 95 now, but not a 90, because at some point you take talent no matter who else is coming.
Maybe Nolan would never have gotten an offer if Harbaugh was here for the whole recruiting cycle, but this timeframe does change everything.
