Scary Weather possible for the game

As of Now Minnesota is expected 2-4 inches of snow on Tuesday. after Tuesday the forecast is cold and in the low 30's all week. With snow showers Sunday morning.

At best were playing in 28-30 degree weather. At worst that Snow Storm moves in early and were playing an October snow bowl on Saturday night.

A few things; yes, run game is a big part. It would probably be our strategy to start with anyway, so cold/wet weather just forces that issue. It would also limit Minnesota's offense, at least to some degree, which is a strong passing offense (primarily). Also, we have the better defense, but our real weak spot this year (corner) would then be shielded a bit.

All around seems good for us, to my mind at least.

I love MN. Wayzetta on lake Minatonka is awesome. The weather there can be 2020ing bananas. I was there during the “It’s happening” period, and there was a high of Negative 2020ing One!!! That was the high!!! God bless them.

Never said it wasn't in fact I like a little snow for the game.

With our questions on whether Milton is the real deal I wouldn't mind a snowstorm to throw that equation off. and turn it into a runners game that we should dominate.

The 1 Mystery equation is Milton vs Tanner Morgan right now. We win on Defense and we win on the ground. Add in snow to throw off the passing game and I like Michigan by 14.

Read one of Pat Forde's articles on SI.com yesterday (he's not the most objective writer and very much an SEC shill, but I've been reading some of his stuff since back when he was a staff writer at espn.com) - he referred to South Bend, IN as the "Upper Midwest"... what exactly does that make MN, WI and the UP?  He's a Missouri grad, so maybe we shouldn't be so hard on him?

that's better for us, we have a giant huge beef OL and 14 running backs. They have an all-B1G QB and WR. if nobody can throw that's a huge advantage for Michigan.

Linebackers and safeties are who stop running plays.  Our linebackers are the class of the B1G - they were last year and will be this year.  Our safeties include 5 years of experience, and the best safety prospect in the country with some proven ability behind him.

I have no fear of Minnesota's run game.

Season opener in a blizzard. Now that is B10 football.

(and for those who complain it is too hot in August, it can always be worse).
