What part of OL makes you think he is a CB?

hit backspace twice, and then type "CB", you get CB. That's my best guess.
Yep, that's Simba made out of a pineapple.
Confirmed. I just did that and you're exactly right.
Not sure if you were serious....
Yep, that's Simba made out of a pineapple.
Can you imagine if we had a 6'10" corner who could cover guys? Holy hell that would be so amazing.
"I'm the guy who does his job. You must be the other guy."
Especially if he weighed 360 as well. Man, when he layed people out... They'd be OUT!
Someone to cover this guy in practice.

I usually have a team full of them on NCAA when I'm done realistically playing the game.
Nothings wrong w/ a 7'3 WR who is a 99 across the board, who gets the ball thrown to him by a 7'3 QB who is also a 99.
Blue is Faster
I assume at some point an OL gets tall enough where the QB can't see over him, rendering the hugeness as a disadvantage. I assume it's not the case here, but when is it the case?
Yep, that's Simba made out of a pineapple.
If the OL has good knee bend and having a QB that is 6-3 or 6-4, it is probably not that big of an issue.
If we had someone like Nick Patti who was maybe 5-10, then I could see that as a problem.

For a tackle, as long as he still has the athleticism, I don't know if he's ever too tall, within reason. The tackles are bent at the knees and waist, whereas the QB is standing tall. Plus, the added benefit you get from him being huge is more than the small visibility drawback.
I was wondering about this, and his weight too. I've heard that nothing about 320 is good weight, is that different if that guy is 6'10"? Or does he need to get into better shape. That being said. 6'10". 360. Damn. I would like to be the guy who is being blocked for by this guy.

I would have to think that some of that 360 is bad weight. I mean Shaq was only 325, and he looked huge even though he has 3 inches on this kid. I would say that around 320-335 would be a realistic "good" range for him.
"I'm the guy who does his job. You must be the other guy."
As it is just getting leverage to block. If the guy you're trying to block gets underneath you, he'll be able to get past you. Of course, this will also mean that he's low enough to throw over, as the above commenters noted.
6'10" is massive, but I'd guess if Michigan offered him, they feel that he's got good enough flexibility and technique to make his size an advantage, not a disadvantage.
I'm in awe that a high school sophomore is that big. I really don't know what to think.
6'10" 360, HOLY UNDERWEAR!!!
My username is spelled "mgordoblue", but it's pronounced "Throat Warbler Mangrove".
6'10" and 360? And he still has a good 3-4 years of growth? The kid is a wall.
Is his dad the same guy they called "Zeus" that got hit in the eye with a penalty flag? Not that it has any bearing on his son, I'm just trying to keep it straight in my pea brain.
Edit: He's ONLY listed at 6'8" 330 on Scout. Amazing.
that's his dad and he had a nasty streak in him. 6'10" is extremely tall, but shouldn't be an issue as long as he can bend which was one of the concerns about Zach Banner.
His Dad had a bit of a temper to him, word is he never quite forgave officials (as a group) for hitting him in the eye with that flag. As a Ravens fan I liked his play and understood why he would hold a grudge but wished he would calm down sometimes. It's a real shame what happened to him last year though, hopefully his family's doing alright.

For those who don't already know, he died from diabetes complications last September. He was only 41.
Now that is a guy who needs to come to Michigan to play Manball!
can't we just offer him as TE, have him run out 10 yards and throw it up for him to grab it.
Serious question: Does he have any basketball skills?
Center prospect. He hikes the ball sitting. Nobody moves him.
Intensity is a lot of guys that run fast.
I just read his dad's wiki page. I didn't know he passed away in September, diabetic ketoacidosis. Dude also made $25MM in his lawsuit against the NFL. Was 6'7"/360.
That said, Jared Gaither is 6'9", so given some random inaccuracy in high school measurement, Orlando Brown might be "only" 6'9" as well. Ryan Mallett's height varied by a couple inches here and there too.
That's a big kid. I already can picture him leveling some DE.
can you say tacopants reincarnate??? There was a absolutely huge on UM bball team at the same time as avery queen, very much the duo...I cant think of his name. Brown should fight him just for the pure spectacle of it!!!
Man you beat me to it. Aren't those Taco Pants stats? The joke of Taco pants is real. I woul dlove to see him line up at tight end and run(Big steps) down field. Impossible to cover in the red zone.
On another note, Hoke likes his playes to be huge! Good thing Shane is like 6'4" and getting taller. He'll need it to see over this massive line. Seriously it is going to look like those old goofy cartoons of offensive linemen. These are going to be good years coming up.

Hopefully it is natural and he is both as good as his dad and a future Michigan recruit.
For the kid's sake, I hope not. Andre was in constant excruciating pain for the last few years of his life.
Likely not, as Acromegaly usually is seen in people who are very tall, but with average sized parents. His dad, however, was 6'7", which is pretty damn tall, so 6'10" isn't too far out of the question for him.

I feel like 6'10 is just too big if there is such a thing
247 has him at 6-8, 315.

"Michigan! and stuff"
Can a kid like that play on the defensive line? If nothing else, he's tall enough to drive opposing QBs crazy with batted balls and blocked passing lanes.
I met little 'Lando at his Dad's funeral this past summer. He was probably more like 6'7" 330 at that time, but he spoke at his Dad's funeral and there wasn't a dry eye in the house except for his.
He is a focused, intelligent, mammoth of a kid. He said then that he was intent on providing for his entire family as his father had previously. I hope and pray he goes Blue, he would be astonishingly easy for me to root for.

I clicked through to his twitter after I saw that he replied to Keith. He seems to have the right focus right now.
