As a graduate he would be immediately eligible, BUT this seems to be a moot point with him already choosing Akron.... |
| 2 weeks 13 hours ago | A quick look at Hirschman's |
A quick look at Hirschman's rivals page showed that he's a 2010 kid who enrolled early. That would mean he has 2 years of eligibility left. I would actually love that. That way Shane can really take his time and if Gardner were to leave after this season he'd be here to push Shane. |
| 2 weeks 2 days ago | I definitely think a prospect |
I definitely think a prospect none of us have even heard of yet ends up signing with us, for no other reason than it happens every year. It is an interesting year though with few spots available and so many blue chip guys interested in us. I wonder hwere the balance is between taking a commitment from a player and waiting for a player far superior to him (if there is one). Props to the coaches, because it's a position I wouldn't want to be in. Comments on your list...... I don't think Winovich is coming here. Also, Nicholson is a decent bet, but he seems to be taking the process to slowly to land a spot. I think Juju Smith will end up signing with us. |
| 2 weeks 4 days ago | Those guys are good examples |
Those guys are good examples of JUCO gems, but they were also recruited, wanted, and signed LOIs on signing day, they didn't transfer in after spring practice due to need. |

Does this make Denard their best QB? |
| 4 weeks 2 days ago | Meh, according to the 247 |
Meh, according to the 247 composite Weishar is the worst of the 3 who dropped today. I'm still secretly hoping that Bunting's commitment sets off a chain of guys committing who already have their finger on the trigger (Ways, Westphal) |
| 4 weeks 4 days ago | I also wish he could have |
I also wish he could have another year with Hoke/Mattison... but it is what it is. I also think he can have a solid pro career, but he really needs the right situation. |

I was home watching it with my pops at home... I was standing up and my exact reaction was, with hands on my head, WHY FROM SO FAR AWWWAA...... OHHHH MYYYYY GAWWWWWDDDDD, as I'm running hands in the air |
| 7 weeks 6 days ago | Burke's back must be hurting |
Burke's back must be hurting right now, while watching overtime I came under the impression that he just couldn't miss. I was getting so frustrated with his performance throughout, but he stepped up like the leader he needs to be, and he'll forever go down in wolverine lore for it. |
| 7 weeks 6 days ago | My own brief |
My own brief thoughts, Pipkins has improved indeed, but Bosch didn't really have a single good rep in that video, I think the calls for him to play in the fall should die down a bit. The play right after was even better, Q-Wash had his way with Ben Braden. Erik Magnusson and Taco Charlton both ooze potential, both are just long, athletic guys. LTT's single rep was darn good, and he looks HUGE... the kid just might end up being a good one for us Gallon had a hell of a block on Ross Douglas, and let him know it James Ross is quick as hell, RJS appeared to be as well.... but the guy he was going against (Dan Gibbs) was also slow

Thanks for the heads up. This is something I normally wouldn't care much to watch, but after your description I will gladly end my St. Paddy's festivities in time for this. |
| 10 weeks 3 days ago | In other news, Elijah Hood |
In other news, Elijah Hood released a new top 5 and we are his number 3 behind Notre Dame and UNC. His number 2 keeps changing, but his number 1 doesn't. As much as I would love to keep playing ND, this is a kid I'd rather not be facing. |

I'm not quite buckling up, but I'm tugging on the seat belt pretty hard. |
| 12 weeks 3 days ago | As far as the OL, I think |
As far as the OL, I think Doles is a future commit... after that we should only take 2 more and from guys that are sure fire tackles. Alex Bars is a kid I'd like to see here, hopefully the family connection selas the deal. Now flame away with the "you let the coaches decide that" comments, just what I think. Yes, the coaches know best. |

Or head bashing bored at a student job and after reading all of the recent posts, is looking for ANYTHING to entertain oneself for the next few hours. |
| 12 weeks 4 days ago | All of this talk about a LB |
All of this talk about a LB coach..... what then happens with current LB coach Mark Smith? Has he only been coaching the middle LBs anyway? |
| 12 weeks 5 days ago | I don't know much about |
I don't know much about Oklahoma's staff, but I wonder if he is making the move so that he has more control over the D-line. Here he had Hoke and Mattison also helping out, and although I'm sure he appreciated it, he learned what he learned and has moved on. I'm wondering how the staff chooses to replace the position on the staff. Another DL coach? A QB coach? |
| 13 weeks 3 days ago | Kid seems like the ideal |
Kid seems like the ideal nose. If he comes in as part of the 2015 class then he'll be 3 years behind Pipkins. I think the kid could be valuable in goal line situations at the very least. |

| 15 weeks 2 days ago | Wow, Hatcher JUST recommitted |
Wow, Hatcher JUST recommitted to them too. For the record, despite Reuben Foster sommitting just yesterday, he still may sign with someone else tomorrow. From committing so early, to his familymoving to Auburn and getting the tattoo... to the visit to SDSU, and now this news??? I thought that Jordan Payton was bad last year.... |
| 15 weeks 3 days ago | Of his three finalists I |
Of his three finalists I thought they were the least likely. He seemed to like the fact that Georgia wanted him to be their new Jarvis Jones, and he already had Auburn ink. Now he chooses the school whose biggest rival's logo is permanently on his body. The dude certainly isn't the brightest crayon in the box... |
| 15 weeks 4 days ago | From what I read about him, I |
From what I read about him, I want Cornwell. I think the kid would give Morris a run for his money. Lower ceiling, but higher floor. |
| 16 weeks 3 days ago | Dan Gibbs is his name, I |
Dan Gibbs is his name, I don't think he's created any practice buzz. After 3 or 4 years he might be able to contribute as an extra lineman or maybe even at RT, but with the way Hoke recruits Oline he may have a tough time time seeing the field |

Not cool what Biff said about the B1G, his son Jim is still an Iowa LB. If it's really his twitter. |
| 17 weeks 2 days ago | You could be right, and |
You could be right, and that'd be great for them, but I've heard that Hatcher really likes Mark Stoops. Kentucky is one to watch in this one. |
| 17 weeks 2 days ago | If it indeed is DeWayne |
If it indeed is DeWayne Walker then I'd say this is a great decision on his part, if it's a coordinator position. He has plenty of experience as a secondary coach in the NFL, so the only reason why I would see him taking another DB coach job is because he knows he's on the hottest of seats (NM st is terrible, so wouldn't be surprisng. ) Other than that I'd argue that it's a step down. If it's as a coordinator, than he:

| 17 weeks 2 days ago | Hoesntly, with the way recent |
Hoesntly, with the way recent recruits like Diamond, Treadwell, Isaac, and Frost were "guaranteed" to pick us, Green choosing auburn wouldn't shock me. A little surprised, and a lot of disappointed, but not shocked. |
| 17 weeks 2 days ago | You didn't mention Jake Butt |
You didn't mention Jake Butt in your move up/down. You highlighted him in your offerees section though so I guess it suffices. Sorry for pointing it out, it just really stuck out to me.... Anyway, not much change really. Everyone already in the 101 - 150 range stayed there, as well as Dawson in the 151 - 200 range, and Douglas and Charlton being at the bottom. LTT dropping wasn't overly surprising, he was so low on the list, that with the inclusions it was almost expected. I secretly hoped Hurst would have sneaked his way in there by how well he played in the semper fi bowl, but I now doubt he'll even get a 4th star. Overall, great class. |
